Well if Griffith is a villain, then that's fine. As long as Gus is not gay, I'd be willing to give Bersek a chance

Anime exists to cater to anime fans... as well as expose the world to the unique vision of the writer.... If anime fans want more gay male protagonists... then while I personally wouldn't see it, there'd be nothing to object to.

A character should not be gay, unless that's how the creator envisions this.

Just like how my opinion on the UranusxNeptune Sailor moon thing... The change in the English version made no difference to me, I still found sailor moon to be just as stupid with or without lesbians. So the change is no big deal, and if they kept it the same, I wouldn't care.

Having a character be gay isn't a good or bad thing, and it won't make a show better or worse. Personally... my favorite female anime character, haruhi suzumiya, is bisexual. Does her sexuality make her a better character? Well, kinda, cause we get to see her sexually harass Mikuru... What was I saying again? Oh, sexuality doesn't define a character

even after a series is over... I can't count how many anime that aren't yuri, but are suggestive of yuri. So even by the end, it's hard to tell if they're just friends or in love.
