Even though I'm VERY happy it finally ended.... It feels super weird to have Naruto on the "Completed" section of my manga list. I've been reading Naruto since I came to MAL....it's been one hell of a long journey to finally ending it. |

Amazing shonen manga with all its good and bad things. Great setting with so many likeable and dear characters; Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, and pretty much all others. Naruto's connection with Sasuke was really enjoyable to follow, and I'm glad they ended up true friends in the end. One of my all time favorite manga / anime stories. If I was giving scores on MAL, it would be 10/10. I'm only kinda sad Hinata's sister Hanabi didn't have bigger role in story, she shoved much potential, and too bad we didn't get to see what happened to Orochimaru, Kabuto, Suigetsu, Karin, and Juugo. |

Man, I've been finishing a few series these past few months for some time but this one is a little special than others. Start of the end of an era with Naruto finishing. Some of my youth is gone with this one with how long I've been following it. - Naruto became Hokage, Believe It. - Pairngs galore. A lot of them I expect to happen, either because Kishi wasn't thinking that complex with them, or the (subtle, sometimes not so subtle) pandering through out the series. Even moreso with the anime fillers in some character's cases. The main left field hook up is Choji x Karui one though, I don't know at one point Choji and Karui even exchanged lines between each other but good for him too I guess lol. Kiba x Tamaki was pretty funny in "lolDogs vs. Cats" sort of way. - Gaara is apparently forever alone, not even random sand village lady for him geez. The guy has "Love" on his forehead, come on. - Tsunade and her Kage brethren form some sort of senior citizens group now to drink and reflect (or vent in Mei's case), kind of sad. Tsunade actually looks younger in the future than previous panels in the series. -Bee just chilling, not really doing much it seems. - Gai crippled and can only reflect on the "good old days". At least Kakashi keeps him company. More important though than ship pairings in a shounen series. - Where the heck is Orochimaru, he used to have some hype and then completely vanishes from anyone's thoughts in the final chapter. - The rest of Taka. - It would have been nice to see more reactions from people accepting (or not accepting) Sasuke. - Who was watching Sasuke in the end. Probably movie-in stuff. - Kakashi, WHAT"S UNDER THE MASK. Seriously though they put his face on the mountain with the mask, it became a gag in the end. The ending wasn't that best but I've gotten used to manga series not having endings I would expect to be from built up reading hype over the years invested in them. if I read it at an earlier time I would have way more disappointed but I'm glad just to have some closure on it now. Been a bumpy ass ride towards the end but finally goodbye. Next week with no new chapter will feel weird haha. Since One Piece has no ending in sight, it's Bleach's turn next... |

I will forever love the story of Naruto and when I have kids they will know about him and how he has had an impact in my life. I was in Jr high going through so much in my life and it just felt good tuning into toonami on Saturday night to watch Naruto or going to the comic store to buy the manga with the little cash my mom had given me . It was my escape through the harsh reality I was living in at the time. Now I'm 19 finished reading the manga and I could say its time to make a story for myself. Naruto you will always have a place in my heart man. |

Implying there was a couple that had more than that out of the main 3 ones (NaruHina, NaruSaku and SasuSaku). I'm not sure what kind of story you read but give me a single interaction between NaruSaku that wasn't just friendly in the last arc. I can understand being hurt that your favourite couple didn't become canon but you can't deny the fact that Kishimoto was clearly putting NaruHina into foreground for a while before the ending. And that Sakura was too obsessed with Sasuke to see Naruto like more than just friend as shown in the last arc. Yes, it's Kishimoto's bad writing that he never focused on romance and everything had to happen off-screen. But it was several years after chapter 699, a lot of things could have happened in that time, it's not like everyone was hibernating. |

I have been reading Naruto since 2006 and it was my first manga. I dropped it four years later as I had too much going on, but this summer I decided to check out how things have progressed. It was so sad to see it end. Naruto has been a large part of my life and now it feels like an important friend has gone. I will definitely read it to my kids so they can follow Naruto's story and share his ups and downs and learn from his mistakes. I has been a long, bumpy road, but as the destination has been finally reached I am sad but at the same time happy. Arigatou Kishimoto Sensei! |

I remember Sasuke (upon leaving) cliaming Naruto has no idea how he feels as he's never lost anyone, knew then either Jiraya or Iruka would got cut. Jiraya's end also managed to make Tsunade look pretty weak too (their last day out) IMO. |

I guess Sasuke hates Neji.. just saying.. or the two just forgot that they can use that jutsu or Kishi himself forgot it and went ahead with the ending cause the Movie's casting is that Neji wasn't part of it, cause the The Last movie was ahead of the last chapter I guess, and he was force to kill of Neji permanently because of the movie? Nah, the most important scene between Naruto & Hinata wasn't the confession scene. It was when she snapped him out from his despair. Naruto was on the verge of giving up but she influenced him & changed him for the better. I agree that she doesn't have alot of screen time but she's only a side character & the main focus of the manga isn't love. |

Honestly, everything doesn't have to be about romance. The thing i'm trying to tell you is that this scene had a huge impact on Naruto. He was about to give up but Hinata supported him & changed him. This isn't something Sakura is capable of. At least we have never once seen her influence Naruto like Hinata did. This Naruto Hinata moment alone turned the tide of the war. Clearly she's important to him weather or not it's romantical. U cannot deny it & in my opinion. This scene is more important than the confession scene. |

Theres other bigger holes then that. Iv mentioned them and so have others. Bullshit. All you have done is blindly defend a pairing with almost no basis except for one sided love. At least I said what the issues were. I also stated the biggest plot hole was Sasuke summoning Manda when he was out of chakra. If I knew Japanese I would send a message about that to Kishimoto's twitter just to see how the fuck he could defend that bullshit. Yet the manag hammered that sakura never loved naruto in that way and she still had feelings for sasuke. All ive seen through the whole manga is sakura seeing naruto as just a friend and nothing more. Also this is the first I saw you brought up that summoning thing. |
