meh its useless to speculate, its up to the mangaka, and he clearly has no problems in skipping scenes or modifying the storiline, but so far, the main plot has remained the same: the holy grail and guinevere and the full cast from the west star is there, including nell and bianchi, so imo caesar will join the good guys at least, which means he will fall for Ichi, (and if he is anything like he is in the anime, she will fall for him too)

Is Kagome Mitsus relative? im not sure, maybe just a fellow ninja, but lets just wait for the next chapter of the manga, we still need to see which direction caesar/ichi will go, that said, caesar did tell Ichi in the manga that they have to hurry to save nobukatsus life, otherwise 'he will be breaking their promise' so he does seem like he intend to keep his word, maybe later he will ask for her hand in exchange of saving the oda from hannibal and charlemange or something

Yeah, but all we can really is speculate right now. Especially with the monthly release of the manga. His aunt I thought it was Mitsuhide's mother who died because of Nobunaga? Kagome looks like just a close friend in fact I read somewhere that in the play she had something for Mitsu. He said that man I guess he really is trying to win her over XD.

Nah, I don't think Kagome is Mitsu's relative, but just saying she could fulfill the spot of someone close dying. So, Caesar is already keeping his word to Ichi. XD

Where I read said aunt or mother. She had something for Mitsu? Eh, why do girls have something for him? That he is. XD

Well, I didn't research since way back, so my memory of it may not be good. XD

Caesar x Ichihime were the best couple in the entire show. I don't give a fuck about the others. The Nobunaga x Jeanne relationship didn't have much of a develop. But If I had to choose I prefer Himiko over Jeanne for Nobunaga. Anyway it didn't happen.

It looks like only the 2nd and 3rd act are being released. I guess since Caesar X Ichi didn't really happen in the play it isn't really that big of a deal for us XD. Still I'm curious what Caesar's fate will be in the play. It also looks like even though Ichi is dead she is still gonna appear in the last act.

Yes, Ichi X Caesar was the best pairing in this show despite their little screen time together T_T.

I feel the same gissellebatista. Caesar x Ichihime definitely were the best and didn't care about the others. I do prefer Himiko over Jeanne too.

Well, you never know maybe Caesar has a scene with her that takes place in his head or something. My prediction is that Caesar is the savior king in the play XD. Seriously though if they make Mitsu the savior king in the anime, manga, and stage play we got a problem here.

It does make sense to have Caesar in the vol 5 cover. Something that I find funny though is how Ichi's dvd/cd covers are both 4. In Japan that's considered a bad luck number T_T.

I can't read them either but they sure do look funny.

So the fangirl i talked about apparently went to the satelight cartoon night thing and apparently there were some stories involving caesars chocolate cake that i havent translated (im not sure if they did told a story or if they actually served choco cakes there ill check it later when i have time)

What im sure of, though, is that the creators confirmed that there definitely was much more to Caesar and Ichis relationship than what was shown in the anime, but he wouldnt give specific details and decides to 'leave it to our imaginations', thats what the fangirl said anyway

Well she said there was choco cakes being sold there but it was sold out when she got there..

She also said the director said there was 'absolutely a Caesar x Ichi story that was not shown in the anime' and she said that she was glad that she got to confirm there was more to them, even though she was disappointed not to get the details obviously..

Well im guessing shes not either, i cant see how else they deepened their relationship in the time given

Hmm, so the way I see it is this Caesar X Ichi story was scrapped from the anime I'm guessing since they didn't have enough time. If only we got it in a drama cd or a ova episode T_T.

I like alot of the designs for the characters mechs in the game XD. Caesar's my favorite though =p.

While the official manga seems to be its own canon, but it seems to follow the anime since all the cast is present

As for the Mitsu spinoff, its obviously a prequel, kagome is still alive so my bet is on the story is about how Mitsu is determined to help nobu conquer the world, after kagomes death or whatever, it will probably end before the main story starts, it will probably focus on how the main trio (saru, nobu and mitsu) came to be determined to change the world and whatever, as well as give us some background relationships

Yeah, I barely got a chance to actually look closely at the pages and noticed Kagome. I thought it was a prequel too but there is also concept art for Jeanne so I don't know how much time this will span. Still it was strange seeing Ichi and Mitsu interact the way they did while the ninja girls were watching. I'm not gonna lie my inner shipper was T_T.

Most likely it will end when jeanne lands or something, i doubt it will go far into the main story

Well we knew Mitsu and Ichi knew each other for some time, so it doesnt really matter, besides they were mostly talking about the Oda clan and Nobunaga

I can actually see Ichi and Mitsu work if he didn't kill Nobukatsu and a little less suffering. Still my OTP will always be Caesar X Ichi.

Well apparently Ichi appeared only in flashbacks, also both Nobukatsu and Himiko died as expected...

Im not sure of the details since its still from a few posts need to wait a little more for more concrete details

Still no idea what happened to caesar, but apparently he was also brainwashed by arthur who appeared as a beautiful woman, if im not wrong, Arthur told him he can bring Ichihime back to life, and caesar got brainwashed since he was obsessed with Ichis smile or something, after all in the play he fell for ichi because of the painting titled 'ichihimes smile' (a pun on monalisas smile obviously)

But apparently that didnt work out since Ichi only appeared in flashbacks so yea, still waiting for what happened to caesar

Ok so

Arthur appeared in front of caesar ---> turns into ichihime--> tells him the grail can revive the dead--> sure ! ill make the grail appear!

Arthur in front of Mitsu ---> turns into ichihime---> sweet talks him---> ok! i will strike down nobu!

Same as in the anime, caesar and Nobu had a rematch with caesar similarly brainwashed, trying to create a peaceful world,

Nobu broke his mask and released him from his control, but for some reason caesar started bleeding from the eyes and died or something

His last words were ' i just wanted to see that smile..... that girl's''

The grail is destroyed,

And in the end, Nobu and Mitsu fought, and BOTH DIE

Nobu: i want war
Mitsu: i want peace

both die, said to hideyoshi: please make a world of both war and peace

Also Da Vinci was a villain, he was the one who instigated caesar by showing him ichis picture, and when nobukatsu found out his true nature, he shot him while laughing (da vinci might be arthur, but im not sure about this)

the supervisor likes cesare (obviously since that guy killed alot of people)

Why did they have to kill off Caesar like that. There was really no point in his death in the play. Still that last line T_T. I feel like Caesar is more of a tragic character in the play since he never spent time with Ichi or got her love T_T.

That there is a troll ending XD. I actually prefer this ending over the anime just because Mitsu dies LOL... I do feel kind of guilty considering Mitsu isn't as big a douche in the play.

As much as I am a total sadist on Mitsu, I dislike this ending more. I hate Saru, especially his historical counterpart and that carried on to this one. The guy was an absolute tyrant! He's on Dracula level for how he had people killed.

Caesar definitely is more of a tragic chara in the play as in the anime he was with Ichi and saw her smile and got her love. T.T

Eh, I like the anime ending as probably Mitsu suffered his whole life, in this he escaped his suffering. XD LOL

Caesar in all adaptations seems doomed to die because of his love for Ichi, it kinda annoys me that his love for her will always cost him his life (well her love for him also caused her death in the anime, it makes me wonder if caesar would survive if she hadnt gone to see him in ep 21)

He was manipulated by arthur in the anime and da vinci in the play by using her painting

He definitely is a tragic character, but i notice all the characters are the same, just different things happen to them, in the play its probably because they didnt have the resources to incorporate all the characters and subplots so they had to change things

i agree, i already have an antipathy towards mitsu, so i dont care, actually i prefer that he lives forever alone and dies a virgin

tbh in the play he didnt even get to know her, and yet he was somehow attached enough to be brainwashed by her, and just to see her smile? thats quite tragic

But in the anime it was kind of worse i guess, since both has just reunited and confirmed their feelings for each other, it makes it more cruel since they gave us a glimmer of a happy end for the couple

The manga is the only hope for some caesar x ichi unless we get a blu ray special

Cesare and magellan was questions asked during the anime night, only arthur (who is played by ichi) is in the play, they really cut the costs there...

Well the play caesar was more obsessed with her 'smile' than anything, the painting is titled ichihimes smile

and when arthur as ichi brainwashed him, she smiled too, and that was how he got brainwashed and he referred to her smile again before he died... its pretty sad, they really went for the tragedy route with caesar
