Thanks guys :)

@Lotus97 - I feel like yoga is a hit or miss for most people, even though it has many benefits. I would recommend taking classes, not only because it's difficult to do exercises properly on your own if you are just starting, but also because of different atmosphere and feeling in yoga class. You should definitively try it out and see what works best for you.
I took longer break because of work and now I feel all cramped and out of shape. I'm looking forward to starting exercising again next week.

I've done yoga before. I recorded a bunch of shows on TV a few years ago. What I do if a pose is too dificult is I modify the pose or just do static stretching. They have a warm up and cool down portion that's relatively easy and then I just skip some of the harder stuff in the middle. I prefer sports and then weightlifting after that, but I do like yoga better than cardio or stretching. I don't mind stretching if it's in between sets of weightlifting and/or at the end of my workout, but stretching by itself is boring. Even though yoga is more or less stretching, I like it better.

You probably have more experience than me, since I always had to take breaks and never got to the really difficult exercises (I wouldn't probably be able to do them anyway). I often choose to do the easier version of some poses too, and after few times switch to the regular version. I'm not sports type at all, so yoga is perfect for me thanks to focus on stretching and proper breathing. I tried to exercise on my own at home, but I'm not disciplined enough for that.

I'm able to do a weightlifting routine at home, but I'm not sure I'd like doing yoga as much if I didn't have a video. Partially because I don't have the stuff memorized (so far I'm just doing the same video over and over even though I have 20 episodes recorded). Also, there's something about someone giving instructions that makes it easier. Maybe that's partially why I don't like stretching as much. I wouldn't say I'm that advanced. I did it a few years ago, but never really got into it. I think this time might be different because I can't do much else besides yoga due to my health.

Yeah, I can imagine video makes it much easier than just reading from the book or doing exercises from memory (that's what I did). Most often I would look for and only do poses which would help me with current condition (low blood pressure, headache etc). I hope it helps you feel better too.

Licorice extract can raise blood pressure. It can lower potassium so you would want make sure you don't have any electrolyte imbalances. It can also raise cortisol which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your adrenal situation.

Welcome. So you're a One Piece fan. I can't say that it's one of my favorite shows, but Luffy is one of my favorite parts of the show. He's not on my top ten favorites, but maybe my top 20 favorite characters. I noticed you don't have the Haruhi Suzumiya movie on your plan to watch list. I know the second season was kind of disappointing, but I would recommend the movie.

Yes it was. I can't believe anyone thought that was a good idea :(. It was a shame because I really liked the first season and the movie.

I still want to "complete" Endless Eight (as in watch each episode through). I think I made it through 4/8 episodes (the first three and the last one). Maybe by the end of the year I'll finish up the other four. Gotta wonder what in the world they were thinking to put out a something like Endless Eight. Brutal.

I watched 6 or 7 episodes. It's kind of fun to find all the little differences (there's a lot), but I still consider it a waste of time. I'd say watch the first 2-3 episodes and the last.

Nice to meet another fan of Trinity Blood. I hear they left a lot out from the manga and novels which is a shame because I doubt any more anime episodes will be made.

Partially because I don't feel like watching any anime right now and also because I prefer to watch shows once they're completed so I can watch at my own pace.

Welcome, Brian. I haven't really gotten into manga either, but if you like Haruhi Suzumiya there some printed material (not sure if manga or novels) that didn't make it into the anime. I'm hoping it gets animated though because I prefer watching anime over manga.

Hello everyone!

I'm Peter, 20 years old from Hungary. I first watched anime when I was really young, like I suppose the most of us, including Pokémon, Sailor Moon and similar stuff. Then when I was around 12-13 there was a TV channel that aired anime and I watched quite a few of them. But then somehow I grew out of it. I started watching anime again last summer, which was right after high school finished and before uni, so I didn't really had to do anything all day long and I somehow got bored of all my PC games.

On my list, with the exception of the original Pokémon series, I only have anime that I watched (or rewatched) since summer, because I can't remember how much I've seen of what I've watched younger.

Apart from watching anime and reading some manga, I also play the electric guitar and write my own music. I've been doing it for more than three years, but I've never really taken it seriously, so I'm not that great at it. And I do it much less frequently these days.

That's all that came to my mind right now. If anyone is interested in something or would just like to talk, feel free to give me a message.

Thanks. Since I used to mostly listen to metal bands, I played songs by my favourite artists. Now I listen to a much wider vatiety of music, but I still enjoy playing metal the most. But I also like to play different styles, or just mess around too. Currently I'm usually playing songs from K-On!, because they are quite easy, but fun to play, or from a band called "Sabaton".

I don't like all types of metal, but power metal is one type that I do like a lot. Someone told me if I like Metallica then I'd like power metal. My favorite band is Power Symphony. Have you heard any of their songs? I'd recommend Way of the Sword and Battles in the Twilight.

I also don't like all kinds of metal. And personally I don't really think that liking Metallica would necessarily mean liking power metal. Metallica is mostly thrash metal which in my opinion is quite different. But I suppose you could say that liking any sub-genre of metal could mean liking an other.

I don't listen to that much power metal, there was only one band that I really liked, Rhapsody of Fire. I haven't heard of Power Symphony yet, but I'll check them out probably tomorrow, thanks for the recommendation.

That's interesting because the person who told me I'd like power metal if I liked Metallica actually recommended Rhapsody of Fire. I do like Rhapsody, but I like Power Symphony better. Power Symphony actually reminds me a lot of Metallica. I haven't listened to a lot of power metal, but maybe it depends on which Metallica songs we're talking about. I liked almost all the songs on the two Power Symphony albums I've listened to, but those songs I mentioned earlier are my favorites.
