Dragon Ball.
Long ago I got Dragon Ball Volume 1 in the mail, together with my weekly Pondus Magazine(Famous Norwegian Comic).
I read it, and that's where my world of manga/anime suddenly started.

Mine would be X/1999.
Sadly it didn't get finished (stopped on 19th volume). I really like it. Well, maybe someday ladies from CLAMP will decide to complete it. I can only hope. :)

Lone Wolf and cub. My father had the comic version. This is not what got me into manga though since I assumed it was just like all the other comics my father had.

First manga I ever read was Bleach because I was tired of waiting for anime episodes to come out and wanted to know what happened. Now, I can barely muster the strength to read the thing... ah well. Did introduce me to the fact that I enjoy reading manga slightly more than watching anime. ^_^

Still havent really gotten too serious about manga yet. Most serious one that I read though is History's strongest disciple Kenichi. The Breaker was probably the first that I read that didnt have an anime version though.

Naruto... when I was in the beginning of 5th grade (10th grade now). In the first volume, I took a pen and wrote all over the dang thing. I added speech bubbles and made the characters say the dumbest things, added mustaches and unibrows and such. I still have it and it is hilarious! I was a mature 11-year-old, as you can tell.
