This episode was garbage. I don't understand why they keep reusing the same character models for the female minor characters.

She says she wants to make a perfume that makes people happy. Well congratulations, you accomplished your goal. Even if it only did that, it would become a highly sought after drug. The end result would be the same. But we have to make some weird distinction, as if the people using it weren't obviously happy as a clam. They just left the guy in the perfume workshop, and then they're surprised he burned it down. Again Huey just kinda lets the bad guys do whatever they want. Sometimes he's a competent soldier, other times he just stands there until they get too close to use a gun.

Then of course we have to get the terrible sob story. I set out to make ecstasy, but oh noes people got high, and my dad sold it to a druglord instead of becoming one himself. But it's cool because if you set a whole bunch of herbs, spices, ambergris, and chemicals on fire everyone in the town will get high too. It will be a good thing this time for some reason.

I knew this character for 2 seconds, how am I supposed to be invested in them?

What even is the goal of the main characters? Seems pretty clear that people shouldn't posess these tomes, yet Dalian is completely cool with it. If these tomes burn, does that mean that Dantalian is now an incomplete archive of human knowledge, or do they exist as raw data there? If they do, what's even the point of returning the tomes? Even Fireboy's quest seems dumb then because evil Dalian can just make infinite copies.

Still waiting on Dalian to have a moment of sweetness.

P.S. What bullshit is this that a healing tome can only work on a person once? Why have more than one healing tome then? And how exactly did the soul exchange tome even work in that case. It can't heal this character a second time, but these other two can be healed thousands of times until they become Chaos from Sonic the Hedgehog?

P.P.S. Hearing is even older than smell. Touch and taste older still.
