| The whole franchise is awesome, but tbh, I like HiME more than Otome, like I said before, Otome lacked the tragic moments in HiME, it was focused more on the humor side, while HiME was focused on the drama, so if I had to chse between them, It's HiME, I don't even have to think twice about it. |

Hime had those times where you had to hold your breath because you didnt know how something was gonna go down. or those times your heart skipped a beat when something was revealed that you didnt know. yeah, otome didnt really have those. |

| That makes no sense imo. There is no such rule stating a remake or addition can't be done better than the first attempt. Au contraire, the second attempt may very well be better because you've got more experience and you'll have learned from your mistakes. I think Mai-HiME is better though, but not just because it is the first. |

| At least in my opinion :D The fight scene between Lena Sayers and M9 is epic! I have always though the scene from Peter Jackson's King Kong remake where Kong single-handedly fought three T-Rexes was the most epic scene in any show I have ever seen but the Lena vs M9 scene simply blew it away! :D |
| Mai-Hime is my absolute number 1 anime favoriete I have seen it alrdy 13 times and still cant get enough of it =D awsome story with nice chars the fighting scenes were amazing just simply the best. But there is 1 thing I like more about Mai-Otome then Mai-Hime it would be the Otomes transformations =) they look Awsome but too bad Mai-Otome lacked the action that I was hoping from Mai-Hime my opinion there wasn't enough action in Mai-Otome :| |

| Mai-Hime, by a longshot. Arika was a little annoying; and I could never really get into the father/daughter or old man/teenage girl relationships... it just ended up bothering me throughout most of the series. |
