Monogatari Series: First Season
| Yes yes, another watch order but, hear me out. In the process of going back and rewatching the series I wanted to include not just the anime, but also the unadapted portions of the light novels. Sounded rather straightforward, but wound up turning into a week-long odyssey culminating in a 10 page long list of everything in the series, all of which placed in as close to chronological order as possible. I don’t know if a comprehensive list like this already exists or not, but if it's helpful for anyone to have all the content listed in one place, here's the link for the doc. I have yet to finish Monster Season or Off Season, but I'll update it as soon as I've read through them. |

In reality, re-watching Monogatari in chronological order (at least the anime, i'm currently reading the novels) made the experience better for me tbh, It's really interesting how the way you see the whole history can change, depending in how you watch it, but this is only valid after you already watched the series in release order before |
