In what order should I watch the series including the movies?

Season 1 > R2
The akito films are crap but you can watch them after you're done with the TV series if you want to.
Lelouch of the resurrection is an alternative ending.
The other films are just the TV series with a few changes.

Watch the seasons first and movies after. So season 1 then season 2, then the movies.

Then quite literally movie 1, 2, then 3, and finish off with the Re; Surrection movie.

There's a really helpful entry on the r/anime subreddit that has a lot of watch orders including Code Geass.

Ok so to summerize it, watch the series (1 and 2) then movies (1,2,3), right?

Main Universe:
-Season 1
-Season 2
-(Maybe canon)Akito the Exiled ova’s(set in between season 1 and 2)

Alt Universe:
-The 3 summary/alt universe movies
-The other movie (the sequel to the movies timeline)

Idk about everything else, including the picture dramas and manga, because I haven’t and won’t ever watch/read them, because they’re supposedly really bad.

Ultimately, I REALLY think you should just watch the first 2 seasons (since they’re the best Code Geass ever gets by far and the ending to season 2 is really good and satisfying), but the Akito the Exiled ova’s are almost semi decent and the movies timeline is interesting, though far inferior to the actual show. If you’re gonna watch the ova’s though, you should watch them after season 2 not before.

It's been a looong while since I watched the exiled movies but if memory serves they were far from crap😅, some highly competent CG, a brilliant OsT and a generally great artstyle. The story was weak in places but in keeping with the usual shakespheien drama of the main show. Id love to know what you found to be so bad about em?

1st season , R2 , recap movies ( if you want and they contain some extra scenes ) , Resurrection . Skip akito the exiled not that good
If you are from South East Asia, then I request you, when you will start an anime, you search if it is available on Muse Asia and Ani-one Asia, before looking through piracy websites
