| Season 1: No, not really it's episodic victim of the week stuff Season 2: Yes, seems episodic but is all connected Season 3: Yes, same as season 2. Season 4? Don't know I haven't seen any of it yet. |

| There isn't a lot of over all story to them. From what I remember, season 1 has more story and mostly about Ai Enma's back story. One of the seasons (2 or 3, can't remember) does take place in one area, so is connected by location. The appeal in the series isn't about an over arcing plot, but about the human stories and what lengths people will go to when they are under stress. Some of the stories are very messed up. I did feel a couple didn't go far enough. Nothing like Hell Girl to really make you hate people. |
