| for me, i would choose haibara ai or miyano shiho because she's the one that understands him the most and with the same condition, of course. i think that she's in love with conan/shinichi and prefers to hide it by using her sarcasm. she's also very pretty. i find her prettier than ran. she's rather unfortunate if conan doesn't choose her. and she's had many sufferings as a child, all her loved ones were killed and she was forced to make drugs for the organization. if they found an antidote, that would mean no chance for ai to be with conan and i think, instead of telling him him her feelings, she would rather keep it to herself then walk out of the picture i suppose by going somewhere far like england, where her mother was born. and if, there is no antidote for aptx4869, she's the best partner for conan because of their matching ages and bodies. and they are the only humans in the world with that condition. i don't hate ran nor do i like her. it's just that her character's so simple like any other heroines. although i give her credit for waiting for shinichi. haibara ai or miyano shiho is my favorite character so i'm quite disappointed to find ran's name all over. sorry for the long reply.. :( |

| I'm pretty neutral on Detective Conan shippings, but if I had to support any of them I'd choose ShinichixRan. Even though I personally don't think childhood friend romances would work out that well in real life, it's obvious that they have feelings for each other, and I personally think there interactions are pretty cute, if not a bit idealized. Ran's been waiting for such a long time (or a short time? considering this manga has Comic Book Time XD), and she hasn't really shown interest in any other guy other than Shinichi. That takes commitment. And Shinichi quite obviously has feelings for Ran. He also hasn't shown any honest interest in any other girl except for her (despite what the ConanxAi shippers tell you). Like TvTropes says, Shinichi is Ran-sexual and Ran is Shinichi-sexual. |

They're good friends, knowing each other's secret and so, but I don't think a romantic relationship will happen between those two. Ayumi is also not possible, considering the fact that Conan is obviously older than her by many years, in terms of when he is portrayed as Shinichi. So yeah, I think I would just choose Ran. And I don't think this series will focus that much on the relationship between him and Ran anyway, considering the fact this anime has gone on for about 14 years, still without much foresight on what's going to happen between those two; merely focusing on the solving cases aspect. |

| Definitely Ran, although I could see something happening between Haibara and Conan with their relationship the way it is I love the pure love relationship of Ran and Shinichi and as many people have said before Ayumi is just way too young so she doesn't even come into consideration. |
