When's the first time you've seen it

I've seen it on October in 2020 and man, when I saw Episode 3, I was speechless and it's a top tier WTF moment I've ever seen!

And it's the best magical series I ever picked, and I picked the best one, it became one of my favorites ever, 2 years later in 2022, I finally get to watch Rebellion, and I love this series as I ever did before 😊

Not having Rebellion on Crunchyroll is crazy, and it's never brought up on any news for it, like come on, who can ever forget Homura vs Mami!?

Maybe this is embarrassing but my niece got me into anime about 12 years ago.
We watched some eps of aot s1 and and sao s1 and I was amazed how good it was.
I started buying anime dvds from hmv, one of the first being Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I was absolutely obsessed with it. It ripped my heart out then ep 10 blew my mind. Wtf this wasn't just cartoons this was actual art.
Since then I've never faltered in my love for anime. Watched about 300 now but if pressed PMMM remains my favourite.
Btw I'm 56 now, lol.

I watched PMMM in August 2024, but it was soo good that i completed the anime in 2 days. In my opinion it’s an underrated anime and more people should know about it!

Can't remember exactly when it was but I was probably like 13, and luckily I had never heard of it before. Though I was in for a simple, cutesy anime but I immediately got pulled in by the twist and ended up binging it in one night 😂 still one of my fav to this day 🩷🖤

November 2024 when I was 16, I was hooked. No other anime captured me as much as PMMM and by the time credits rolled on episode 12 I'd already decided it was my favourite of all time. No other anime yet has quite managed to hook me as much as Madoka Magica did. Only thing I'd do differently if I could watch it again for the first time is have watched a more conventional magical girl anime beforehand, because the 'deconstruction' aspect of the series didn't really land for me.

I like every member of the Holy Quintet in their own way but Homura will always be best girl.

Can’t rcall the very first time but had rewatched the series again February of this year after
Watching the 2 recap movies and the rebellion sequel mostly because I wanted to compare both the series with the rebellion movie vs the movie recaps with the sequel

Also homura is my most favorite character in the whole series cause I think she’s one of the coolest anti-heroes in some of the anime I seen so far along with afew other characters from other anime series

Can’t wait for walpurgusnict rising to finally air 🙃🫰🏼🙃

Watched it back in 2018 I believe and just completed rewatching it today hence came across this thread. It still very much holds up to the standards of a great anime imo.

I doubt the movie will air outside Japan but we can still hope I think.
