| Kimi no Na wa. I get that it may be very emotional and has a unique premise, and it's not a terrible movie, but: -The romance is not that deeply developed. They're just suddenly in love for no reason. -Some huge things, especially towards the final act, happen without a real reason. -There's a slight imbalance between the care with which the two leads were written; one is a rando with an interesting background while the other is just a rando. Would have benefited from being a show or having an extended edition. |
