| After thinking about it for a while, I wonder why should I pity the director? It isn’t like they pointed a gun towards him to sign the contract. And why would JC staff deliberately choose him? Obviously he choose on this job on his own accord. Look, the outcome is crystal clear now🫱 But wait, if I look it from the other side, the criticism towards opm isn't bcz of the bad direction, but for the trash animation, which is the studio's fault alone. That's not something a director handles. But still, if a show gets hated, the hatred will eventually spread to all the other staffs too. Perhaps I should feel bad for him |

| @Rob7 in the general sense its the opposite, that technology in japan advanced more than the other countries and in return it partially ruined their society, which is also why their birthrates are so low and depression so high, and the overall very toxic work cultuer, although that is a different subject, the job of being animator is one of the worse and most pressuring "technology" jobs to have, manga author and videogame developer are also bad in that sense |

| Chronically online weebs don’t know shit and don’t know who to properly blame so they proceed to attack the director instead of the JC Staff and Bandai higher ups who not only have the actual decision-making power, but used said power to decide (I’m just assuming this was the general gist of it) “hey let’s green light a 3rd season and then just not give the staff enough time to animate it decently.” Classic lol, just classic 🚬🐤 I’m all for clowning on and making lighthearted jokes about how disappointing the animation is but if you venture into the territory of personal attacks against people who are trying their best under shitty circumstances, or if you support those attackers/feel no sympathy for those being attacked Mod Edit: Removed baiting. |
