Is there going to be a season 2 or is it fully adapted? I haven't watched it yet but I'm asking because i don't like watching animes where i have to wait years to get a sequel, i rather wait for it to be completed.

Never, it's fully adapted (not very good tbh), but the story is complete

This show is based on real life events and they gave us the hint in the last scene i.e About Nicolaus copernicus. So they want to tell us the rest is history folks.

Lol in what world?
Inspired? Yeah. But this is not based on real life nor is any of it a true story.

It’s fully adapted. Though it should really get a dub. Imagine if it got a Polish dub.

No lol, the story is complete. Nothing in the ending of season 1 leaves any room open for a follow up. It all leads into actual historical event, which puts a firm cap on the story

hmm, I don't think so, because the story is finished, from the start the anime was made because of a conflict where the theory that Rafal and the other characters were fighting for could not be discussed in general

It’s not a true story as in fully accurate but everything that occurred like heretics being burned for such believes actually happened long ago and there was one character that was based on an actual person

it is.

every event mentioned there was inspired from real world events, although the characters might be frictional, everything they went through to get a basic right of STUDY AT WILL shown in this anime is pretty much real.

I think the storyline is pretty solid, especially the character developments. Every character in this anime has some sort of backstory and depth.

Based on how it ended, I don't think there will ever be. it's fully wrapped up on how we got to know the heliocentrism we get to know today.

but!! there will be a new anime (and a sports anime at that!!) from the same creator 🥰

@_Nion_ Obvioulsy, the characters and story are great. It's just that, coming from the same studio as Frieren, the adaptation (direction, animation, soundtrack, effects, etc.) could be better for some episodes.

I did not read the manga, why are you saying it is not very good adapted?, because of the animation or something else?

No.. the manga is complete and all the chapters are animated. It's highly likely the story is based on real life events.I don't wanna give spoilers so to put it simply it's a story before the major discovery which actually leads to that discovery.

Maybe but I personally like the animation, especially the soundtracks. I think the animation style does match with the story and theme.

I didn't say that, I really liked it. I was referring just to the adaptation: animation and effects, some night scenes are too dark for example.

Not at all, the story and characters are great, I really liked it for me are excellent. I was referring to the adaptation, as I said in other comments, the animation and effects aren't good enough (like in night scenes)

Read the Wikipedia, unironically. They literally name-dropped Nicolaus Copernicus at the end who is an actual historical figure who is first one to make a mathematical model of.

And the thing I find pretty cool is the fact that
Because contrary to popular belief, heliocentrism isn't that controversial, sure it was still wild idea at that time and there is so much back and forth debate, but church didn't try to like burn people just for believing in heliocentrism as far as I'm aware. There were persecution for people label as heretic, for example Giordano Bruno is one of well known one who get burned at the stake, but heliocentrism itself isnt that controversial. I recommend checking it out, because it is a very interesting period of history.

Well, it's not skyrim's or any game's blue night. They wanted a beautiful night sky to have more attention. Also, they were showing the "dark ages" of medieval times. All it takes is to go outside when its power shortage or go when there's no light pollution to see how brilliant this anime is and how they did a wonderful job.
