Currently I'm looking for a new app to watch anime. Previously I watched on Netflix but it's expensive. So I'm looking for the new ones cheap and most animes are available. Any suggestions?

I suppose you look for a legal one, then I guess Crunchyroll.

There's no legal site that offers all anime, Crunchyroll probably has the largest library of them all.

Crunchyroll>Prime>HiDive>Netflix

Pirate sites are garbage I only bother with them for anime you can't find anywhere else.
Both CR and HiDive are dirt cheap. I only use prime because I have someone's logon. Wouldn't give Netflix a dime.

This only really applies for America which also has by far the widest availability of anime outside of Japan. Given that OP appears to be in Asia, I don't think Crunchyroll distributes there. Even for Europe Crunchyroll isn't a solution given the much smaller catalog that usually lacks other distributors other than Crunchyroll themselves - good if you follow normie titles but otherwise you're out of luck.

Piracy isn't good but it's the best service currently out there. And as Gabe Newell from Valve Software famously said "Piracy is a service issue".

Crunchyroll is by far the best option (in terms of catalogue at least) but not 1 platform will have everything you want to watch. Netflix, Hulu, Hidive and others do have important titles, so you either pay them all, borrow accounts from friends or use pirate sites. To be fair some of these sites are not expensive so if you want to watch an specific show you could pay for them for like a month or smth.

@TheMechaManiac People in Asia may have other options because Asian TV channels play anime in their languages, which can possibly be streamed through other services locally. It should not be assumed they don't have plenty of options over there.

Piracy is NOT the best service out there. It's not a 'service'. Crunchyroll or any other legal streaming is 100% recommended above honeypot sites, except for titles not found. But I'm not going to waste more time arguing with people about honeypot sites just do what you want. But it's not fair to recommend it to others.

How are piracy sites honeypots (assuming you're referring to tourist traps and not the cybersecurity term)? With an adblocker, pirate sites typically provide better discovery, better tracking, better search and filters, better players, and features like group watch rooms.

The above list doesn't even include the obviously more expansive library compared to legal services, because that's never going to compare, so I'll omit that from consideration. I say all this as someone who pays for Crunchyroll, HiDive, and Prime, but use none of them because I have my own library I stream from a home media server.

Cat site was never a honeypot, sorry.
