The orchestra club's section leaders meeting, which Sakuma is taking Takimoto to task amidst the other section leaders contemplating about the Nationals in less than 2 months, the beef continues on those who continue to slack vs. those who come for morning practice to work hard for the upcoming competition. All of this is happening while Hajime and the rest are doing their usual practices, though other 2nd violin Senpais like Kokomi Fukudome know Sakuma well to dispute on who he really is and his ambitions for the concert band, but the rift with Takimoto and the other Senpai who quitted after the regular concert, left quite the void to fill. All of this is happening while Takimoto is really stressing out on her studies from day to night, yelp...not to mention the ongoing dispute between the 2nd violin 2nd-year Senpais.

To think that Takimoto and Fukudome have to juggle this while Hatori was jumping between clubs, it was quite a memory lingering that extends to the former and her relationship with her strict mother, which Takimoto has to make a choice between her studies and the club itself. This is only made worse when Fukudome reaches out to Himeno for help to talk to the girl who's clearly stressed out, even exposing her hidden broken family story side, Takimoto having to keep up her facade to appease the members under her regard while keeping her mother's dreams alive to inherit their family business, it's clear that she's already hit her breaking point.

Hajime's coincidental meeting with Takimoto on the way home, how would he respond to someone whose side he's seeing for the very first time?

Breaking hearts, together will overcome problems...?

It’s so cringe no one picked this up, but they’ll license seasonal slop # 20000. Crunchyroll and Hidive are useless.

@phantomfandom yeah, those subtitles were horrible! I'll check on Wednesday if the release from DSNP is out, their subtitles were fine last week

I don't know about this drama.

First there is Sakuma. I think that no matter how good or hardworking you are, it doesn't give you a free pass to be an idiot and go baiting everyone on the team. It's creating a toxic environment. He thinks he is motivating them to work hard, but to be honest, I think it's the opposite, and he deserves a punch in the face.

Second is the Kayo problem; at least she knows that she has a problem, and that is that she doesn't talk and speak her mind, but in the end she needs to make a choice because she can't do both things unless she has help, and for the looks of it, that is where Aono comes into play since he found her at the end.

I like this kind of drama much more than what was in season 1. I can relate to it.

Still hard to understand why Takimoto couldn't just explain her situation when she clearly cannot deal with it by herself. Is it Japanese culture thing?
I don't like to compare this to Hibike all the time but it's unavoidable. In Hibike a girl dropped out to focus on study without much drama.

Anyway I like this season and I hope her drama will get resolved soon.

Given that Kyoto Animation's "euphonium" was so outstanding, it inevitably becomes the benchmark for comparison. It's frustrating that this work lacks the creative power to fully bring out its own appeal.

@diegontijo Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they are only using the video from DSNP and the subtitles from ADN. I don't think the show has been licensed by anyone else, unfortunately. That being said, I agree that the subtitles were OK last week. Not sure what happened this time... There was a bunch of mistranslated and missing sentences... It was hard to watch. My Japanese skills are rudimentary at best and even I could tell how bad the subtitles were.

@Geso_de_Nyoro

Euphonium was generaly boring, only had visuals going for it. Ao no Orchestra is much better. I loved this episode.

@Andrzej2 It's been a minute since I watched Hibike especially earlier seasons. I agree that animation carried it to stardom and it wasn't always as great as people remember. I like musical performances in Blue Orchestra more. However main characters in Hibike are by far superior to Blue Orchestra, at least so far. Aono has charisma of a slug.
