| The episode aired today so scores are still fluctuating, I would say after this completes airing the score would be somewhere 6.5 - 7.5 or higher depending on how well the 3DCG dance animation is done. So far in the first episode it doesn't look that much good. |

| Wait a little bit, the weighted score is made to penalize the score of anime rated by very few users and this one has been rated by only 300 so far. I remember that Cyberpunk Edgerunners was rated below 7 at the beginning, when it was rated by a few hundred users, and look where it is right now. Mods should explain this instead of locking every thread about numbers. By the way, I liked this first episode. It has the potential to be one of the best anime of the Fall season. If the score will still remain low after more people will rate it, it will certainly be due to the 3DCG dance sequences. |

| the episode was a hard watch, really really heavy to sit through. 3D did not convince me either, but I'll watch through the anime anyways because I love the manga. I will be dropping if they aren't able to include Bruno Mars music in this like how they featured them in the manga. FYI anyone interested in reading it, search on youtube or spotify "Wandance Playlist" and you'll be able to follow through the manga from start to end (for yt, I recommend opening the songs in a new tab so it doesn't autoplay in the playlist). I know copyright can be a bitch so the chances are like 0% for getting any of the songs on there, but I can hope. lol. ALSO... You could've made the title of this post ANYTHING and you chose that, I thought u were about to post some bs when i clicked on it. iykyk... |

| Not really rocket science in this case. It's an anime about dancing. It does its worse job in portraying dancing. A classic; "You had one job..." situation imho. Immediate drop - if you're not passionate enough about the core aspect and decide to compensate for talent with uncanny CGI - there's a high chance nothing else will be any outstanding. There's only so many hours in a day - and they are at least not enough to waste them watching sub-par anime. It really makes you question why some try if they don't even manage to achieve some minimum level of professionality. Would be quite funny though if the anime itself tries to teach 'doing your best' in dancing at the same time. :) |
