| Ever notice how someone changes once they get a title or higher position? The same person who used to smile at everyone now barely nods. Back then, they would hang out at street food stalls, laugh, and talk like anyone else now it feels like they have forgotten that part of life even my female friend says line like it "why should we eat at proletar place like that ?" even boss ever said like it "dont go place like that due their goods looks like dump af" straightly front of clerk. Maybe its not power itself, but because more likely they have become part of the system where new circumstances make them like they did what should be, not what should be done correctly ig. Some stay humble, others lose touch with who they were. So it makes me wonder, do people really change because of power or does power or just show who they have been all along? |
