Double finale next week

Crazy how the shows almost over. So far it’s about the same in terms of quality as the first season. There is less of a overall goal to the show compared to the first season which is the only criticism I have so far. If they make a new season it will probably come out in 4 years because one thing I will say is this new season has some insane animation. They knocked it out of the park with how it looks.

Good possibility it could happen much sooner. Since P&S’s original existence revolved around the time of studio Gainax’s “final breath” (dissolving). Legal hoops among other things probably didn’t help with the process. It can also depended on where the creative heads for the original project went afterwards. The stars finally aligned again so now we have New P&S.

Also random side note: I think it would be “legally” considered that New P&S isn’t even season 2 of P&S, because of how they had to create a “new”(haha funny) name for the IP. Just like “Attack on Titan” became “Attack on Titan - Final Season” when it switched hands with MAPPA from Wit Studio. I ain’t no lawyer, but that’s how my pea brain sees it. So if “S3” ends up being a thing, it will probably be called “New P&S S2”

@Dasfonia Yeah, I was aware of the situation. Sucks what happened. By now we'd probably have multiple seasons of this series if not for this legal hellhole.

But is "New" Panty and Stocking really called that for legal reasons? Either way, most people will refer to it as Season 2 anyway.
