Does One Piece anime SFX sucks ?

yep if you talking about pre time skip then they were no problem that time but you know animation improved after that and there is wano that's peak animation for one piece but SFX didn't improved a little it's old SFX even used in dragon ball 1989 so it's that old it doesn't suit new animation if you think that way

Example :- Bleach Thousand Year Blood War animation improved a lot as well as SFX every single aspect and in one piece animation is improving day by day but not SFX not a single time!!

Even a former freelance animator (of One Piece) (Hone Hone/Shigetsugu Sota) shares the same opinion, lol.

Most other people who don't share the same opinion either just don't really care or they are already just that used to it/too used to it to mind it and/or to see see/notice the actual quality of it.

@Loaf_dontcare I may have misremembered it, but I did find someone who also thought Toei mentioned something about upgrading their SFX, but it might've just been for the Fishman Island remastered version.

One of the One Piece animator did criticize Toei's SFX team few months ago for their bad and outdated SFX though.
