Season 1 Episode 1


I managed to memorize most names at this point, but since Korean names are kinda tough people usually use player numbers. Like Player 456 in Ghi-hun's case. We can use nicknames as well xD

Stealing the debit card from your mom is crazy, especially from a 47 year old man.. Gambling addiction, debts, loan sharks. This episode really established the depressing situation Ghi-hun is in.He may not win father of the year award, but his daughter is the only good thing left in his life. And he's even about to lose that.

Fortunately there's a straight up Salesman who offered him an easy way out. Just gotta play some harmless games. If he slapped the shit out of you during your first encounter, imagine what happens on that island.

There's no shortage of people with debts, even Ghi-hun's childhood friend, Sang-woo who's supposedly on a business trip found himself there along with a pickpockets, gangsters etc.


I dunno if you have been spoiled about the Red Light Green Light game, but it was all over social media, so I personally didn't go 100% blind into this when watching for the first time. Chaos broke out after the first poor guys got shot. Only the old man aka Player 001 and the Front Man enjoyed it. One playing the other watching like a gentleman.

This was a pretty solid start. Definitely gets you intrigued. And we all love a good death game.

S01, E01

Interesting first episode, reminds me a bit of Kaiju

First thing I noticed btw, the kids top gets ripped but then its fine xD

So our main guy is kinda, hmmm, a real deadbeat, I dont like that he stole from his mum, that was shitty.

I need to see more of his past maybe to care if he lives and wins, cos right now, kinda dont.

The old guy is fucking nuts, guess when youre staring death in the face some excitement at the end is fun xD

btw is that actor the old guy who got arrested for touching a woman? the only thing I know about the show before now, was that an old actor in it got handsy.

Show is gonna be really interesting and its a good start.

I figure if we do an episode or two max every odd evening, no need to rush it, we can do the next episode and maybe third on wednesday.

Also I feel like everything I've watched before from korea always has a deadbeat middle aged guy in it XD

E01E02

Im actually surprised the old guy voted to quit, I guess he was thinking about the others maybe.

We get an insight into our main cast, seems I gave most of them nicknames, but guess we also have life saver and the detective now too.

Tattoo face's subordinate should have known better, I knew he would kill him for screwing him over xD

Pickpocket is trying to get her parents over from north korea too, leaving her brother in care while she hustles for the cash.

Mr Nice guy is just trying to provide for his family, while getting fucked by his boss.

Four Eyes trying to kill himself was BS, it would leave his mum having to deal with it all and losing everything still.

Well know they return, I wonder how many of the 201 return with them, I wouldnt be surprised if its all of them xD

S01 E03

No longer four eyes really just fucked over deadbeat huh, damn

Detective is successfully undercover but I can't really see him being successful for long, he's bound to be found out

hmmm, bad baby momma really thinks tattoo face is a good person to team up with, I bet thats gonna come back to bite her

So its all gonna be childrens games, I guess that means that squid game they mentioned at the start will probably come back at some time and its gonna be teaming up players against each other

this is getting interesting, Im wondering if the shape faces are there against their wills too

S1 Episode 4

My ego tells me I could beat the shit of Deok-su aka face tat guy and his little goons.

You were right on the money. Although, screwing each over was putting it mildly. That was carnage, lol.


Crazy bitch selling her pussy to survive, but got easily dropped. As a leftover she joined our team.

As if fighting among each other wasn't enough, now they even gotta kill each other in the games. Tug of war is the scariest game so far.

The old guy is killing me, tho. 90% of the time he doesn't seem to be there and in the decisive moment he's dropping major wisdom lmao

With such a cliffhanger it's a good thing that we watch two episodes.

I also just realised the games have changed, from win or well kill you, to kill each other to win

S01E05

Deadbeat planting the seed of doubt in tattoo face was pretty smart.

I feel bad for the old man, he's gone from enjoying the first game and feeling alive, to confused and scared, poor old guy.

Bossman be talking about the games being equality, so he's clearly fucking nuts.

Detective finding out his brother won a previous game, but only just disappeared, hmmm, maybe he works for them now.

With talk of the games being good from bossman, it does plant a possible seed that maybe its a previous winner, his brother perhaps, hmmm.

Also the games have been going on for a long time >.> Im guessing with the talk of VIPs its probably a sport they bet on.

S01,E06

.......WTF

This was just too much, setting them to pair up with friends then having them play each other. The minute I saw the marbles I knew it.

That bastard four eyes, Ali didnt deserve that, the fuck was gonna off himself in the bath, couldnt he just die without being a backstabbing cunt.

Deadbeat trying to cheat the old guy, it was a little upsetting but I knew the old guy would give him his marble, he was the real one.

Speaking off real ones, I knew she would drop that marble, for two people that just met, north korea and space cadet had such a moving friendship at the end.

This episode was a lot, actually quite upsetting tbh, what an amazing episode, though fucking heartbreaking.

This episode hit hard tbh, very emotional, I was not expecting it to get this dark/powerful and to be done so well.

The VIP are cringe as fuck >.>

We see a mysterious 'host' suddenly appear with the mask the detective saw in his search..... the host is a thin old man.... say it aint so >.<

He wasnt shot on screen and unlike Ali his body wasnt shown dead, I hope my suspicions are unfounded.

The husband killed his wife huh, then commited suicide, without seeing what happened its hard to judge

Tattoo face and crazy bitch go out together, she lived up to the nickname, glad she survived to get her revenge xD

Only three survive, backstabbing bastard, deadbeat and north korea.

The backstabbers true colours were shown when he just pushed that guy, I hope deadbeat realised not to trust him now.

His lack of emotion at betraying Ali.... I hope his death is painful.

S01E05

S01E08

A short episode.

We find out the bossman is the detectives brother as I suspected, I cant believe he killed his brother, well if he is dead, he might not be.

North Korea ;......; she didnt deserve to go out that way.

Okay so when it comes to backstabbing cunt, it has nothing to do with stressful situation for him, from the start he's been a bastard out for himself.

He fucked up his company, fucking over his mother and was about to take the easy way out and leave her losing everything and ever step of the way hes fucked everyone over.

He's just a piece of shit, with zero conscience who will cut anyones throat, probably even his own mothers and I wanna see his bitch ass lose in the final episode.

S01E09 - FINALE

So it did end with squidgame and deadbeat won, with backstabber killing himself.

I think it was knowing he couldnt win, being unable to return without the money rather than guilt, I don't think he was a good enough person to feel remorse for his actions.

Deadbeat rejoined to help his mum and returns to find her dead, poor bastard.

So the old man was the host..... what the absolute fuck, he was just a horrible person in the end, kinda makes me sad.

Also he lost, even if people are selfish, there are decent people who will help others.

It took deadbeat a year but he did live up to his promise to north korea, putting him into backstabber's mums care.

I am confused how backstabber's mum didnt lose her house and business

It said at the start they were tied to his debt, and with deadbeat not touching his money until a year later, he clearly didnt fix it.

So I guess season two will be deadbeat going after the people involved, that will be very interesting.

Overall season one was pretty good, hmmm, the finale while good wasnt quite everything I hoped for, so I hope season two is even better.

S02E02

Another north korea indead, the twist at the end that shes recruited to be a mask, interesting, guess we shall see how that goes on this time.

I wonder if the painter will show up at the game, maybe even the one from before too, the guy who missed the call and the girl who skipped the baby appointment.

So the detective and deadbeat are working together, guess we shall see how it goes.

The tooth part, holy fuck I feel it would be way too sore to put straight in xD

I noticed this season is just 7 episodes, guess the games will be fast and hard, with deadbeat joining them, will he get his old number, hmmm

Season 2 Episode 4

Lmao @ the triangle nightmare.

New player joined Gi-hun's group. We could name him marine or man bun. And old guy, player 100 is annoying as ever.

Thanos on the other hand while being a jerk still makes me crack up in almost eveyry scene he's in with mannerism or english lines xD "Nice to meet you my brother. Welcome to the Thanos World"

We also met 3 new players the scared girl Young-mi, the girl with the piercing and the guy she talked to Min-su who joined teams of already established characters.

Everyone forming teams for the 6 Legged Penthatlon which conists of 5 games which have to be completed in under 5 minutes. Some of these games look doable, yet the pressure must be horrible. The first two teams which failed made things looks pretty hopeless. Loved how it started out with the goofy circus music and ended brutally. The dark comedy vibes are pretty good this season. Especially things like that one guy pissing his pants add a nice touch xD Hard to feel bad for him when he voted to stay while 3 guys from his team who died because of him voted to leave.. The fact that you have to stay calm and trust your team mates is another crucial factor in this game.

Well, let's see how our group of outcasts does.
