For me, the weakest arc is the Uprising Arc. The story itself is important, but the pacing just feels off. After so much action, it slows down with too much exposition, and the anime didn’t really manage to keep the tension alive in my opinion. Compared to the other arcs, it’s the one that bored me the most

honestly, I rewatch AOT at least 3 times a year, I don't think there's an arc I don't love. They all build off the pervious ones so well, I feel like I notice more details every time that just make them better.

It is surprising seeing the Female titan so high up considering it is one of the best written parts of the story that juggles all of the concepts of the entire story really well to introduce you to what the story will become later.

The Rumbling. Especially if you include the Paths nonsense with it. The story was building up to the apocalyptic event, but the writing in the arc was too questionable for me.
Didn't feel like the same show anymore.

Female Titan for me, but it’s very much a “worst of the best” situation since it’s still a 9/10 arc, just doesn’t give me the same highs as the rest of the series

rumbling feels like any other shonen arc, it's like it could be even in dragon ball. Just boring, as I can see in very much others shonens and better made, like York New arc from HxH and Goku black arc. Maybe I'm talking bullshit, I don't know.

Clash of the Titan is peak first off, and People vote for uprising because it’s the most different arc. It’s so different from everything before it and everything after it to where it feels kinda out of place. Though I voted female titan.

uprising is the worst, but I still adore it because after all this is the greatest show of all time. I'm going to say the only part of aot that wasn't one of the best things ever was the 2nd half of the arc, I hate to do this because the Kenny Ackerman part is one of my favorite parts in the entire series. and it's all peak the only part this show wasn't peak were those last two ish episodes where Historia's dad drank the spine fluid and became a titan, it just felt a tiny bit like filler.

Uprising is one of my favorite parts because of how meaningful it is. It really brings political intrigue to the forefront of the show. And many characters gain a foundation for us to become invested. Most importantly for me personally, it has a believable miracle in the moment between Kenny and Uli, and then points to the possibility of such a miracle at a societal level … conveying a sense of hopelessness (much greater emphasis in hindsight of the following arc btw) and at the same time … I tear up as Uli declares his faith in such a miracle. The naive optimism in the face of such an impossible problem was beautiful.

But it does waste a chunk of its runtime, and some of what isn’t wasted can be less meaningful. Can’t really say it’s wrong for people to like the least … but I’m sad nonetheless

Indeed. Art style peaked with the original team. It's a real shame they were so underpaid and had to leave just to survive as an animation studio.

It's amazing that the majority of the episodes were allowed to look that good.
