According to the drama CD that came with volume 5, scripted by the manga author, Iketeru doesn't like onigiri at all.
So he doesn't think about food. Onigiri is a convenient way for the author to show how Iketeru tries to push negative experiences and thoughts out of his mind. The images in the onigiri are a clue to the viewer.

it had a diffrent ending and good ending and I hoped uramichi oniisan to find a lover to end up with but overall it is a good anime worth watching

In this episode, the creators emphasized many things that were not obvious. For example, that Usahara sees Kumatani in a dream and the latter rebukes him for his behavior (no, this doesn't refer to Uramichi's farewell party, it has to do with Usahara hiding who he and Kumatani really are).
And also that Uramichi, Usahara, and Kumatani are basically the same letters A-B-C from the OP:

A enen tsuzuku taikutsu na mainichi mo
B bikkuri ga ippai toraeyou shidai sa
C shitsumon shite ii desu ka onisan
(A: And even on these endlessly lasting boring days...
B: We are rich in wonderful things, we just have to grasp them ourselves.
C: Can I ask you a question, Older Brother?)

So well the three of them understand each other and are always ready to run to the rescue.
Also, it is significant that Usahara, who is supposedly interested in pretty girls, pays no attention to the beautiful sister of Iketeru.

And the fact that the woman's handkerchief he picked up turns out to be Cappellini's property is no coincidence either. You can't pretend to be interested in girls

URAMICHI IS NOT QUITTING!!!!!!!!! he was just quitting the gym that he was at. I really liked this final episode and the gag that something interesting was going to happen because it was the final episode except it always just turned out that something uninteresting was going on. Really cool episode and really funny comedy anime I am very happy to have watched this anime and I hope that it gees a second season!
