Before reading and perhaps giving an answer, I will add this line to any post I make from now on, and it is the following, do not comment about my profile or anything related to it, because I will not only ignore but also perhaps block whoever does so, try to discuss only the subject of the topic, thank you very much for understanding.

I've read the manga twice, but I've never watched the Anime, Judging by the number of episodes, I think they might have summarized the story, but I've never researched to find out. I asked here because I thought someone could give me a more complete answer about it.

Is this Anime a full adaptation of the manga?

Nop, it adapted up to Chapter 32, and went for an Anime Original end.

@Alexioos95 I figured that would be the case, but I'll watch it anyway.

the anime is worth a watch if you're a fan of the manga but just don't expect too much especially from the ending

The anime is a watered-down version of the vastly superior manga, with an original ending that happens a little before halfway into the manga. Definitely don't expect even half of the same quality, but I can say the anime is a great experience for a fan just because of the atmosphere and OST alone. I only first watched the anime after finishing the manga for the first time, and I found myself fully enjoying it just for getting to see so many beloved characters and events play out on-screen. I've re-read the manga multiple times since, and the writing still holds up much stronger there than the anime.

I watched the anime first which is what got me to read the manga. The only thing I know that is good about the adaptation is the voice acting and soundtrack. Just look up the soundtrack it’s amazing especially for the tracks they have for B-Rabbit and the Abyss. It’s so eerie and I love it 😁
Everything else isn’t all that good. If there is ever a remake (which I highly doubt) I would hope Bones, MAPPA or P.A Works do it since they’re able to pull off creepy atmospheres (especially P.A Works). But not getting my hopes as it’s been nine years since the manga ended 😔

That's the trademark of Yuki Kajiura, she often creates pseudo-languages for her songs. Her work is the most noticeable in the Kara no Kyoukai Movies.

Nope, they only got up to halfway through volume 10 of the manga if I remember correctly.

No, it is not a complete adaptation of the manga; the story and some of the characters are very different in the anime than in the manga.

The first few episodes are fairly similar, but the anime quickly diverges from the manga, becoming completely different by the time Oz

Nevertheless, the anime is still enjoyable to watch, and it's cool to be able to hear “Lacie” (the music box music), which is really good, thanks to the anime.
