| This is just "I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths" with younger MC, who is more pathetic and voiced by a woman in dub (he's a 15 yr old, LEL, and sounds/looks like a girl). Even the opening episode of him getting kicked out and degraded at table was same as the other anime. They either really hate competent older male role models or just really want children in everything (for obvious reasons). Also, I've noticed this trend a lot for last year or so. Same anime formula, but two anime with slight tweaks to it are released around same time. It's almost as if they're trying to see which generic anime sticks with the fanbase and then they can sell merchandise and make more seasons to milk the generic IP #64365, pushing these 12 episode anime one after another as fast as possible (though I think the other anime has better art). I'm going to watch this a bit to see if they actually do something interesting. I don't have high hopes after watching the first two episodes. PS: And before anyone points out, yes, I know this formula isn't unique to these two anime. There are other anime before these two using similar premise. I'm just pointing out, they can't be arsed to wait an year or two before copying it. They probably release them, wait to see what people liked or hated and re-release with minor changes. I'm guessing they want to see what same IP with more childish MC (and most likely, loli content) will do with people who like that kind of shit. After first two episodes, trash anime like this normally should be below 5/10 for just merely existing. |

One thing to point out is that both the web novel and the physical book light novel of The Unaware Atelier Master were published before I Left My A-Rank Party. Just the anime that came after. The Unaware Atelier Master web novel: August 2018 light novel: March 2019 I Left My A-Rank Party web novel: October 2020 light novel: June 2021 And, for me, this series, especially the MC, feels more like Tatoeba Last Dungeon. |

| Eh, I'll watch more episodes and decide. Normally I don't like to ditch anime before watching at-least 5 episodes. If this is bearable enough, I'll change my mind and rate it appropriately.. as long as they don't go too hard on loli-shite in the later episodes. |
| For me it's as if Tatoeba and Beast Tamer had a child. Mindless, easy to digest, but fun. Lloyd is this too dense and too modest kid to notice how overpowered he is, just like Kurt, while Rein was underappreciated and kicked out of his party and his former party members came to regret it, also just like Kurt. |

@CrowTheCryptid Who cares what he thinks of other anime, because believe it or not people have different tastes, and opinions. Just like in my opinion looking at another users profile for dirt, and trying to make a meme out of what that person said is pretty tasteless 1/10 behavior.

This is how they appear, to those curious:  When people can't be arsed with discussing a topic, I just ignore them here. Their opinions are worthless, because they never had anything interest to say in the first place. So there's no point in ever seeing anything else from them. Ever. Anyway, anime still is mid, and has yet to impress me, if you don't like my opinion, feel free to ignore me and move on instead of looking for attention from me. | I think there is a similar show where a guy who is the weakest at his village goes to the capital and he's like... crazy overpowered but he doesn't know it. I started watching it, but ended up not finishing it, I thought it was kind of boring. Tbh there are lots of isekai/fantasy shows that use this trope. I guess it's mostly about if you care enough for the story to keep watching. I love this type of anime so I've watched some pretty bad ones xD Guilty pleasure, it helps shut my brain off and have a bit of fun😄 |

| Well... the "kicked out of party" has been used in quite a bit of series lately, and not just this one and the [a-rank party]. It's just another fairly popular genre, similar to the newly rising "old man" genre. (which is also apparently a-rank party). (there's like 3 or 4 old man anime series in the past 2 to 3 years) . Personally I am getting tired of the "old man" series, lol. So a younger MC feels much better, especially if there are romance aspects. (getting tired of the 40-50 old man pairing up with 16-18 year old girls... I would rather have an age difference of less than 5, even 10 max, and not like 30... at least as same race, IE: 20yo human pair with 16yo human, etc) (I actually think the old man genre got popular is due to that age 50+ mangaka marrying a 20 year old cosplayer from years ago... so other authors used them as reference and wrote up different stories with old man as MC) . |
