People have been already whining and complaining, it is getting old, especially for us that are enjoying this anime. As long as it gets another season / cour I’ll be happy. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

It doesn't need to be perfect and truth be told, I haven't seen any jarring errors in any of the episodes. |

@SakataGintoki420 Dude, just because we enjoy anime doesn't mean we can't criticize it. I also enjoy watching Sakamoto Days, but we can and should criticize because the quality of the anime is really bad. As long as the right criticisms are made, criticisms should be made, bad should be called bad |

Purposely being nitpicky and skewing out imperfections isn't the same as pointing out actually bad animation. (Example, Dragon Ball Super in its initial stages). Since each person views the anime with a different viewpoint and expection, it's expected that what is a flaw to you may be not much of deal for me and vice versa. However some are just hating on the show while giving whimsical reasons. That is not right. |

I haven't read the manga unfortunately so I can't say anything about that. Not doing justice to the manga is not appreciable. However, I do not mind the light hearted counterpart that this show is. It's a perfect compromise between comedy and action. Not as much as Gintama but it checks the boxes for me, so I don't have any complaints. |

@SakataGintoki420 Dude, I already say this, Criticisms should be made as long as they are justified. And Sakamoto Days has many points to criticize; animations are bad, compositing is bad, art direction is bad, program is bad, etc. This is not being picky, these are facts. The only good thing in anime is the direction |

@Reckless_weeb ''absolute justice'' hurts to see as a fan of the manga for dandadan because they did not do that. the oversimplified designs in the anime do not look nearly as good as in the manga and also lacked intensity, the animation is where they didn't miss. |

@ryzxgum An anime does not need to look exactly like the manga to be "done justice". The designs are that way for a reason, and you just acknowledged it yourself. |

@Reckless_weeb and most of dandadan was what i expected so i'm not sure what your point is there. it's just easier to say dandadan has it better because it has better animation but that's not all that matters in an adaptation (although that what all the corny new gen animation junkies care about), so saying "absolute justice" was done is just disingenuous to tatsu's manga which is still leagues better than the anime. |

@Leon888 we still got creative fights, my favorite one was Shin’s on the rollercoaster and the fight on stage where he and Sakamoto are working together. It was such a clever use of his power and that, to me, was enough to be engaging. To each their own, if the animation didn’t do it for you, we are getting season 2, so maybe they’ll up their game. |

Jujutsu Kaisen did it for its 2nd season, and because of it, we were able to get much more expressive and vibrant scenes of character acting and animation. If you wanna criticize the way they simplified it, then that’s fine, but when you talk like out of your ass like this, then you just end up looking very ignorant. |

@Mjborkay simplifying it is the downgrade, learn to read. it is not ''often'' done. if it was, then use more examples than one. and then you use jjk as an example, an anime that looks a lot better than the manga in the design department lol, which is the opposite of dandadan so that's a lame example. not only that, season 1 of jjk looked a lot better and more consistent than 2 so no matter how you slice it, you're just coping. this is what happens when you try to act smart and end up looking a bigger dumbass. don't waste my time if you have nothing useful to say. |

@Merve2Love Fr people who complain about Sakamoto days' animation better apologize to the TBATE fans for their complaining when they've got it good in comparison. The fact that soo many people are complaining about this and acting like it's not good enough when the TBATE anime exists is baffling. I mean to be fair TBATE is already getting more than enough complaints about the animation as is but still. |
I like to watch some anime, I like to talk about some anime, I dislike wars over some anime, but more than anything I love to live my life, anime is an enjoyable and entertaining addition onto my life but it's not my whole life. |
