| @aurora_yuuki When you think of something? That's usually it's 'generic' form, or most common form. When you think of apples, you probably think of red ones, but they also come in various colours. When someone says "a fish" you probably think of A normal fish shape and colour, but of course there's tons of types of fish too. (the image is literally titles "generic fish shape, eh?) It also refers to "not brand name" too. "No Name" or a "house brand" for that store. |

| Um, yes? But it's not only what's most common, it's what you think about as 'normal' for that topic. Typical is another word for it. A 'generic bird' is different from place to place. Sparrows here, warblers there, starlings? Penguins for the Antarctic? If you hear "what is a generic Antarctic bird" you immediately think of penguins, eh? I know I do. There are other birds down there, maybe they outnumber the penguins? But those sorts of birds are all over the place, not like penguins who are mostly in Antarctica. Incest and hetero are types of love? Romance? Hentai? So yes generic "love" would be "boy meets girl, they fall in love". Same for romance.
