Even though FMA has been dethroned, we all know why we love it.
The prestige storytelling, the structure and intricate drivenness of the narrative, and, of course, the loveable and heinous characters and its aesthetics.

You can hate abominable villains with all your might, nonetheless, they will remain memorable.
The opposite can be said, as might be expected, having those who identify more with the darkness of a villain.

Icl except Wrath, Father, Envy and ofc Greed, the rest dont really have any significant depth.
That said tho, Greed a 100% my personal favourite.

My favorite is King Bradley, AKA Wrath. I like him because of his deadly attacks and other factors.

I have a pretty intense preference for the way the 2003 adaptation wrote the Homunculi. There's a great tragic irony to their backstories in that version that I was greatly disappointed to not see when I got to Brotherhood.

Envy is the non-binary trash king tho

I like wrath the most because it was interesting seeing him as a family man especially in 2003 version.

They have more than you might remember (besides Sloth). They all have a story for themselves to say the least, you should rewatch/reread it.

Honestly I remember being really disappointed with how they handled Pride especially. Especially after seeing a character like Escanor. Lust was a one note villain. Not a lot of character writing that associates to her sin. And Gluttony was nothing special as well.
