the anime pacing completely destroys any aspect of suspense, i remember dragging myself through supposedly “the climax” of dressrosa. As other guy said, manga definitely clears, unless you heavily insist on watching over reading

Instead of watching it at 1.5x speed, either read the manga or watch One Pace( Fan version which removes filler scenes and makes the pacing better).

I totally get you dude one piece pacing is atrocious ESPECIALLY dressrosa 😭

I hear some read the manga but we criticizing the anime here its not a manga forum

Its such a shame if thats the case
I hope The One Piece remake will manage good pacing and of course wouldn't be too fast to to only satisfy people's criticism like the fishman island remake for example

Dressrosa is when I switched… best thing I ever did. The difference in pacing completely changes everything, the arc goes from boring and convoluted to one of the best in the series imo. I would watch up to the end of Enies Lobby and switch to manga if I could do it again.

Gachiakuta is the greatest manga of all time

, these two events were definitely not needed to be delayed for so much.

I did try out the manga but mangas aren't really my thing people suggested One Pace I'll try that out.

just read the manga or switch over to one pace.
if you dont want that just speed up the anime where there are slow parts. 1.25x speed feels pretty close to normal most of the times. And that way your 7 episodes would be more around 5.6. Not that much of a difference but it's the best you can get.

haha no issues man. I tried One Piece manga but it wasn't for me I'll continue with the anime it will take time but it is what it is I guess.

Check out OnePace! It's a fan made team of people who have edited the anime to fix all the pacing issues and remove any unnecessary filler from it. You can easily stream or torrent all the episodes in HD through their discord or website. It cuts down the runtime of episodes by so much by compiling and editing them without cutting anything important. They essentially make it just like the manga's pacing. It was my favorite way of catching up on the anime, and they're basically caught up to Wano. I highly recommend it! I just went back later to watch the good fillers and specials like the G8 arc.

Watching the anime first is not the best way to experience the series. Reading the manga or using One Pace are the best ways to experience the series

It usually is an issue for those who binge watch the series. I had caught up to the series quite early at probably episode 200 or so. Weekly release was and is much easier to watch but it still feels quite slow. Especially when they spend like 52 episode, basically a human year in one island before they move on to the next. Extremely slow paced series.
