Depends on your taste. It seems to be more of a DQ type story. If that sounds good to you go for it. Closer to gt than dragonball since all the sex jokes are cut.

I am enjoying the adventure part of it, no crazy fights...just Goku chilling.
(Although not really liking the inclusion of Supreme Kai in this series!?)

Also the ending is a banger!

Honestly, as someone who didn't like Super, I'm having a lot of fun watching Daima! It's closer to OG Dragon Ball with more adventurous and friendly spirit. Fights are more focused on martial art than super powers, some of them also have this Jackie Chan feel (who was a huge inspiration for Toriyama during OG Dragon Ball) featuring for example SonGoku fighting using plates, it's super cool!

If you exclude DBS: Broly movie (which is one of the few good things DBS brought), it's in my opinion the best animated Dragon Ball content since around 30 years

I really love it so far. I also find it quite beginner-friendly, in a way that you don’t need to have seen/read all of DB and/or DBZ to follow the story and understand what’s at stake.

I personally really enjoy it. Yes there are some weird decisions and we have some of the typicsl dragonball weaknesses, but the atmosphere is really captivating and the pacing is good. Also animation and design are better than in super most of the time imo. It feels like a tribute to the OG DB for me.

@wildhood I didn't give db and dbz low scores, i just didn't give them very high ones. db and dbz are my comfort shows, i just like other shows wayyyyyyy more.
