we wouldn´t see Natsu´s character development in the sequel, the way the original series ended was meh
at least 100 Years Quest has Story planning and a direction , that´s a huge step up compared to Original Fairy Tail

@MiraStraussFan99 What character development? Maybe up until Aldoron but Natsu regresses immensely as a character afterwards. So much so that he is now just a cartoon protagonist who defeats the bad guy quickly. The japanese fandom is not pleased with him either hence why he keeps falling behind on popularity polls while characters like Lucy and Selene are top 1 and 2.
