So right now I’m on episode 12 and I think this series is gonna be one of my favs, but the problem is, I already knew a lot of the plot twists in the show
so will I still be able to enjoy the rest of the show, or did my dumbass get me in trouble?

good writing cannot be ruined by spoilers. i just finished the show a few weeks ago spoiled by a few things and still had a pretty good time, as most of my problems were unrelated to spoilers.

hope you enjoy the rest of the show!

Try to enjoy the build-up. You only know what is going to happen. But you can always stay curious about how it is going to happen. A story is not just about a few discrete pieces of information.

That’s great because I know nothing abt sg0, apart from the fact that it’s a different timeline if I’m not wrong.

Yes yes, even I was thinking abt it like this, and I think im gonna enjoy it still, because some ppl say that it gets better after a few episodes, whereas I was interested from the beginning itself. After all, it isn’t in the top ten for no reason lol.

Totally can, even knowing something happens doesn't mean you know the repercussions or how it affects how things go. Episode 12 to the end I binged in one night because I had to know, sleep could wait.

I rewatched it about a year ago and still gave it a 9/10 despite knowing what was going to happen. I hope that answers your question for me.

also, if you end up wanting a bit more, there's an ova set after the story you can watch. I think it's filler but was very enjoyable.

Absolutely. The show's true strong points have nothing to do with those spoilers, Okabe alone makes up for it.
I got spoiled here and there before watching too, but I still lost my shit in the last couple episodes.

It’s like eating your favorite food. Just because you know how it tastes doesn’t mean it’s gonna taste worse. Unless if you’ve been eating alot of it which this time it’s your first try.

But what doo i know about tasting anything. Not like i’ve eaten anything this year.

Yeah, there is a special and an ova. Both are basically filler but they are both really good if you enjoy the series.

If you watch Zero, don't bother with the special. It's episode 24 on some sites and services.

Well don't worry there are so many details and plot twist that you can't get spoiled enough even if it's right in front of you.

It's like telling someone the secret of the celler to someone who has never watched attack on titan.

Even if you're spoiled with some of the plot, Steins;Gate is definitely worth watching just to see why and how the story unfolds the way it does. It's the same philosophy as wether you'd try to enjoy the process when you already know the outcome. I promise, it'd still be a great experience.

The tendency for those who are well acquainted with watching anything in general is that they can memorise and connect dots to what they already know. In order to experience anything without it feeling repetitive, just in the same way that a child can rewatch the same movie and same scene tens of times without it feeling repetitive for themselves, is that even though they have knowledge of it they aren’t burdened by it, similar to having the spirit of an amnesiac rather than actually having to be one.

For something spoiled to feel just as special as it was when it was completely unknown to you, you have to slow down your mind and stop giving into your tendencies to connect dots to things when it’s not desired to do so, and just anticipate the anime, not the idea of the anime that you now can connect to with what knowledge you have.

That twist is irrelevant in the end. You’ll probably forget it happened like a few days after finishing the anime.

Just finish this anime the way it was intended to be watched, finish all 24 episodes first before you decide to watch something else from this franchise.

@NegativeRei It doesn't matter if you enjoyed it, it's not the recommended way to watch Steins;Gate, it's not how the author wished it and that order isn't even Chronological, you are basically shoehorning another anime in the middle of a climax which is already dumb, and worse, not everyone will like Steins;Gate 0, I didn't, and hence that order would have ruined my enjoyment.

I have friends and families that watched it in your dumb order, some of them liked it like you did, and the others hated it and wished they never did, and believe it or not, I would have hated it too because I'm a Steins;Gate 0 hater, that anime is dogshit IMHO, it's just a shitty anime with a couple of good episodes here and there but overall, that anime is shit IMHO and doesn't compare to Steins;Gate, so that order would have 100%, ruined my enjoyment.

Keep your dumb order for yourself mate and don't recommend it to others because you may potentially ruin their enjoyment.

Good job stopping the climax of this amazing anime to ruin the momentum and watch another crappier anime in the middle of it, good job! these newbies recommending that silly-ass order should stay away from the forums, you are doing a disservice to the community.

I’m not abt to watch steins gate 0 lol, I checked out the Divide By Zero ep to see if 0 was worth cramming between the main series. 23ß didn’t interest me much so I’m gonna finish steins gate first and then move onto 0, then I might watch the episode 25 or smth. I kept it on hold just in case I did decide to go to 0, but I’m not doing that. After all, the creators intended it to be consumed in the release order anyway. Ig the “chronological order” is for those who wanna rewatch maybe.
