If the next season only covers 3 volumes again. Won't it be just more preparation before the war. Assuming 4th season only covers vol 10-12. And the war itself doesn't start until vol 13 onwards?

| I mean last time I checked this was the number one light novel in terms of sales so, makes sense. I love how I just watched an episode of s1 and there's the classic comments "do you guys think this will get a s2? owo" the owo was added by me to emphasize how stupid they sound. I remember laughing at the amount of meeting table episodes when it was airing lol, it was such a meme, I did like this season though. I remember stop caring after they start the festival, it felt like some MHA S4 bullshit, and I just stopped watching, but one day I binged it all in parts, and it was pretty solid, I went back and watched them all. I keep forgetting Tensura just makes these mundane shit work and make them interesting to watch. Like some wise youtube said "it's just wholesome Overlord". Sometimes I don't like Diablo not being recognized for how strong he is but hopefully that will change next season? I have hope, he's my favorite character, dumb name tho xd |
| I'm a huge fan of this anime but this last season was literally nothing but meetings and talking and sitting around in chairs and looking stupid wearing a crown while in his slime form and letting all his subordinates do all the fighting for him when he's supposed to be showing he's a Demon Lord actually I was really disappointed with the entire thing. |

| Yea, while the "Yapping" seems to be disliked by most Western watchers. The series is still popular in Eastern side. And as you know, majority of manga and anime's continuity is mostly based on Eastern side. If it do well on Eastern even with majority of Western disapproval, it will still continue. . TBH, I am happy with more seasons, I really like this series and I stand with the world building with slight comedy and actions. |
