The anime series adapting Shotan's comedy slice of life manga will begin airing on October 6 at 1:30 a.m. on TV Asahi and its 24 affiliate stations' NUMAnimation programming block, followed by BS Asahi and AT-X.Staff Main Animator: Michiru Ogiwara (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai chief animation director) Color Design: Chiharu Tanaka (MF Ghost) Art Director, Art Design: Masanori Nishiyama (Mou Ippon!) Director of Photography: Yuusuke Yamamoto (Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi.) CG Director: Masaomi Suzuki Editing: Kiyoshi Hirose (Dead Mount Death Play) Sound Director: Ayumu Watanabe (Summertime Render) Sound Effects: Ijou Okuda (Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e) Ayumu Watanabe helms the anime at Felix Film. Deko Akao (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.) is handling the series composition and Tomoyasu Kurashima (IS: Infinite Stratos) is designing the characters. Masahiro Tokuda (Deca-Dence) is composing the music. Shotan originally published the first two chapters at the COMITIA doujinshi convention in August 2019 and February 2020.
