Well, it's over and beyond lack of canon ships or Deku being forgotten, I'm mostly sad because we never got enough Academia arcs from this series; so much wasted potential.

I felt the same with Naruto, where there was a whole world to explore and complex world mechanics, but nope, it just scalated from school to a world ending-treaths being handed by prota-kun in no-time.

Eww...which Youtube Video did you steal that from? xD
We got like 3 and a half seasons of academia. You're talking nonsense^^

Also....Naruto isn't more "complex".....it's just longer, at this point. Don't confuse these two.

@Merve2Love

Yeah, but like... we never saw any other upperclass aside the big 3, only one other school was seen in the series, there could have been more "Hero" schoolclasses, a class about hero ethics, more test, more interaction with the other type of classes, even show more of the racial hate that was hinted at the end.

About Naruto, there was a whole category of ninja ranks, secret jobs, countries interactions and a whole lot of ninja mission than we never really got to know what they were (but if there were going anything like the filler, we were spared)

"lack of canon ships"

BNHA is the best superhero comic of the past 10 years and all idiots care about is shipping. Kill me now.

Why does it matter which child fictional character "ships" with another child fictional character? Of every aspect of the manga it's the least important thing of all.

Good lord what is with this fandom and its obsession with "ships." Who cares about fictional teenagers falling in love with each other when there's so much more actual important stuff going on in the story lol.

And on the "lack of academia" front, up until the Liberation War stuff, almost every other arc or every couple of arcs were more centered around academia. I suppose, as you mentioned, more upperclassmen or other schools could have been introduced but maybe Hori didn't want to over-bloat the cast.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

Take me back to the days before MAL became infested with Twitter's favorite buzzwords.
