wait... why would you be concerned about that?
unless you wanted to eat me - like, you need to eat the entire moon so you'll have to eat what left in the sky plus the piece that i bitten off...
i would understand that... but then, if you are gluten-intolerant... you would say "i hope you are gluten free" - not "not gluten free"
may be you are intolerant of glutenless food?! oh, naruhodo!
Hmm 🤔 they said others had tried wearing anime shirts to meetings and were asked to be more professional
But the guy asking was wearing a snoop dog tshirt

Oofmastre9000 said: nah, im the opposite. i tend to
remember negative stuff much more easily, but thats probably just because im generally a more negative person.
Not necessarily there was something about there being a natural evolution reason for the negative being such a bother to get rid off too and stronger i think.
(Or maybe not? Like it seems really counter productive... or maybe its supposed to be selfsabotaging if people think too negative.... omg 🤣😭 nooo... im putting reason into coincedense and chance thats magical thinking sorry... )
Also cause it like gets ingrained in your body, reaction thing and chemistry whatever. But i dunno if itll have to be repeat of something to stick more than once but like it seems that one ARGH! or EW! is plenty to make some stuff stick to the brain like dat. Especially if it was something big to your emotional system or whatever of course. But we were talking about food right. 🤣🗿
Like they also say something like 1 bad action or word needs whatever more positive input / reinforcement repeated to prove something wrong and get good positive ingrained into your body/system to lessen something negative cause it affected like your natural brain/body response i think?
Like i remember i was also pissed/upset that i couldnt control when my brain want to remember stuff very well and when it doesnt irl at all and i felt so powerless to remember good things, people and moments sometimes that i WANTED to remember or feel and keep my _good_ strong feelings i can have, keep information i wanted SO INTENSELY MUCH to keep in my brain it would just be like nope.
When i was a kid i learned myself that sometimes picking up a physical object to relate a memory to would help my brain to keep it at least social memories so i could remember stuff, what happened and what people was there. Cause back then id forget both positives and negatives very very fast. But also stuff i wanted to remember and it made me sad i didnt.
Now that i think about back then positives would erase the negatives / theyd get ignored so fast if there was something positive to replace it so maybe thats why my brain and body too started remember negative more like that at some point if there were no positives to erase them. 👀🤯 cause it was NOT giving good results lol.
Apparently stress also makes your brain like that so ig to help keep the good memories trying to not be stressed might help gaining more positive memories and enforce positive thinking too. But i feel like i get stressed a lot by nothing so i could never do that, cause you gotta try to jump in to good things and be like f you anxiety depression, and ig maybe the good stuff might stick better to me just like negative some day 😈
So then the info i found about it also stated like the ai botty down below said too that its cause the brain often holds on to stuff in more detail where you experience very strong emotions because of the chemistry or whatever your body makes.
The human brain handles negative and positive input differently, which is why memories of unpleasant experiences seem indelible. The brain processes negative information more strongly and in more detail, making it easier to recall. This is due to both physiological and psychological reasons.
Physiological Reasons
The brain handles positive and negative information in different hemispheres. The left hemisphere is responsible for processing positive emotions, while the right hemisphere processes negative emotions. This separation can lead to a stronger emphasis on negative memories.
Psychological Reasons
Emotional Intensity: Negative events tend to be more emotionally intense, making them more memorable. When we experience a negative event, our brain releases stress hormones like cortisol, which can enhance memory consolidation.
Attention and Focus: We tend to focus more on negative experiences, as they can be perceived as threats or challenges. This increased attention can lead to better memory retention.
Repetition and Rehearsal: We often replay negative experiences in our minds, rehearsing the emotions and details. This repetition can strengthen the memory and make it easier to recall.
Social Sharing: We tend to share negative experiences with others, which can reinforce the memory and make it more vivid.
Why This Happens
It’s not that people are inherently more prone to remembering negative events; it’s just that the brain is wired to prioritize negative information. This can be beneficial for survival, as it helps us learn from mistakes and avoid potential dangers. However, it can also lead to an imbalance in our memory, with negative events dominating our recollections.
Conclusion
The combination of physiological and psychological factors contributes to why some people remember more negative than positive events. While it’s not a conscious choice, our brain’s natural response to negative stimuli can lead to a stronger emphasis on negative memories.
