Its sad that he was taught to use his power to help others by his grandpa, but ended up causing so many people to die because of Sukuna in his body and unable to do anything. He was supposed to be executed by Jujutsu higher ups, but was saved by Gojo. He must really regrets Gojo's decision. Not to mention, he was only a few minutes late from arriving to help Nanami. dont forget witnissing first hand everything sukuna did, all the murder, gore, absolute horrific shit he did to everyone, killing waaay over 10,000 people, even if it wasnt intentional sukuna did all of that without worry, and then knowing all this wouldve been avoided if you were still locked up or executed after eating the first one, like some sorcerors wanted.

Itadori will probably never forgive himself for what Sukuna did in Shibuya... But ironically what Sukuna did was a huge help for the good guys. He defeated Jogo who was the strongest or second strongest curse and he healed Itadori who is know going to fight Mahito, and he is basically the last active strong sorcerer in Shibuya. So as shitty as it is, without Sukuna's intervention it was game over to the good guys and everyone in Shibuya would end up killed for sure.
