Basically series that take a common theme, genre or formula and do a "Gone Horribly Wrong" version.

Examples: School Days for the romance and harem genre.

School Live for slice of life

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan for the Magical Girlfreinds genre.

My waifu is the most wonderful waifu. Mai Valentine.

We're freaking out that we're running out of time, but to do what? Should i stop and think of that? Is there something i could do to slow it down? Live in a day for once, instead of watch it sprinting by

Strange Dawn, mainly because it wasn't actively trying to subvert any tropes associated with modern isekai or the role of a hero at the time, meaning its subversion is partially retrospective in form. Instead, its uniquely eccentric plot was entirely genuine in its approach. I found that endearing.

Betterman also worked as a play on the "quirky kid discovers a mecha" formula, but it was a more intentional example of the subject.

"I'm Quitting Heroing" did that, it reversed the role of the fantasy hero by having him quit on the people and go join the demon army, to only find out the demon members were kind, hard working honest people trying to do their best and so volunteered to train them.

That Level1 Demon Lord One Room Hero also subverted the whole 'hero' ideal by deconstructing the hero himself and reversing the ideal of both the hero and the demon lord: the demon was reverted back to a childlike state and the hero advanced to retirement age but the hero is shown to be a slovenly, jaded, broke womanizer in a crumbling apartment while the demon strove to do heroic things by trying to rescue the former hero from his fate. Demon society and human society were also reversed showing the corruption of the human vs the quirky yet honest, hard working demon society (i.e. the 'job contract' offer, description of the demon health insurance plan, perks and rewards etc)
