It looks that way seeing how people are really loving it despite it being new. I guess we'll have to wait till first volume sales drop. What do you think?

@JoestarEISH_020 I don’t quite liked it from 1st chap, so didn’t even add it in my list.

so basically judged a new show with one chapter and called it bottom tier, at least finish a volume before making such baseless claims

pretty bad. It makes me think, I should have read Katanagatari than this nonsense.

I don't think that will be the top 1.
It's very classical ... But on another side, that could be the reason he would be top 1 hahaha. ^^

What I've noticed is that Chainsaw Man used to pretty consistently be the most read manga in MANGA Plus until Kagurabachi started its publication.
Which actually makes me concerned about both series to be honest...

Kagurabachi is literally the greatest anime to ever live. Many people say that there’s two scales between popularity and quality. Kagurabachi is perfect. Topping both sides of the scale. It was so good that I stopped going to work just to keep reading more of it. I brought it to church and showed it to my friends and now on sunday’s we study the manga of kagurabachi. I got my old high school involved and now they’re teaching it to the new freshman as required reading so the next generation can now be better educated with modern literature and the greatness that is kagurabachi. I made a T-Shirt for Kagurabachians such as us and we now plan on overthrowing amazon so we can ship the manga out faster.
Meet 2186 Woodcreek Drive at 3:15 AM PST if you want to help us overthrow amazon and support kagurabachi.

nah dude, if the 8 chapters out now are any indication of the future quality then it's gonna be one of the worst manga publishing for awhile

Currently, I’ll have to see more from it. While the world is interesting, I’m hoping that the art gets a much-needed increase ( something along the likes of Jagaaaaaan’s art upgrade ).

Along with that, the fights need a chance to open up some more. What I mean by that is, right now, all we’ve seen of Chihiro is your standard manga/anime cut-&-slash + fast forward to defeated enemy trope. The other fights have potential, but they’re short as hell. I would like to see a lot more fluidity and movement. Hopefully, the abilities of the other swords elevate this manga to the next level, seeing as I’m not too confident in Chihiro’s getting more complex than the fish concept we see now.

It’s a bit too early to tell.

That’s a pretty dumb way to judge a series. You can say it wasn’t for you if it’s not your kind of series you can get into, but to say it’s “bad” without having fully read it is a stupid form of judgment. There’s a difference between something being bad and something being not of your taste. There are animes that are terrible that I’ve liked even still for certain reasons. One may dislike the anime attack on Titan but you’d be a fool to deny that it’s a beautiful series that’s written fantastically. Some just might not like violence, some might just hate the characters (or some of them). It depends. Anyway I would recommend you read a little more than one chapter before you fully make your judgement. One chapter wouldn’t even fill an entire single anime episode which is a poor amount of time to be able to really judge it.

Good god there’s literally only a few chapters out. If you read only one chapter don’t bother even making a comment as that’s not nearly enough content to even make a full anime episode. You can’t judge an anime by the first episode alone unless it’s not to your preference (like if you generally don’t like battle shounen or something like that). I would definitely give it a lot more chapters before saying wether you like it or not.

I would give it more time. I’ll admit things seem to feel a bit slow with the story but I think that’s just because the chapters are weekly. I’d give it at least 20 chapters to really see how this story will fully develop since we haven’t even gotten to the climax of this beginning arc.
