| Wow, I'm glad to see others are watching this in the dubs as well. They aren't amazing but they definitely feel more classic to me. Anyway, I always loved this episode, and I like when it shows Pokemon that are able to withstand things they normally couldn't through training. VVill said: I can't really remember much, and I don't necessarily doubt it, but I hope / wish you're wrong :/ It would be really cool to see Ash fight him in the Pokemon League or something.We never see that guy again in the show. |

| I thought this was a pretty awesome episode. I doubt it but hopefully we'll see him again as AJ seems like a super strong and interesting character. It's crazy how he just destroyed everyone who battled him |

| This episode is more interesting. Dilemma: Ash's soft methods or AJ's military discipline? Worthy opponent. But Ash had fun beating babies)) :D No matter what, what's the point of playing in an uncertified stadium? |

| I love seeing Pikachu trying to run from fights he thinks he can't win lol. It's always so funny and cute. His cheerleading was also very cute. And Team Rocket is right, the motto is perfect as it is, no need for a new act. AJ training is harsh but not unreasonable. The Pokémon don't seem injured and they are tired but not so much that they can barely keep training. They also seem determined to train instead of being forced. The main problem is the language he uses but I can't really judge that by the dub. |
