| Has anyone seen in the background, a scene in Baccano was playing? IOh, and may I add that the ED animation reminds me of Yozakura Quartet. I wonder if it's a coincidence or not...? |

You ruin the excitement people who didn't read light novels bcoz this anime based from light novels,not manga. I know the whole thing bcoz i'm read the beginning of volume 1 of light novel,but I refuse to tell anything instead I let everyone figure it themselves. | All right. So, I loved Baccano! and when I heard that the same writer had made this show I already knew I was gonna get into it. But I didn't see how deep the rabbit hole was. I LOVE THIS SHOW! Wonderful animation, vibrant and diverse characters, and a story that could only be made by him. This show looks like it's gonna go strait to my top of the year already and maybe even my top 10 of all time. Granted there are alot of similarities between this and Baccano! (the opening for example) but nothing seems like it's rehashed or recycled. I am looking forward to all the mystery, murder, and mayhem. |

| This show is fucking badass. I love how the town is so full of energy and mischief. It looks like it's going to be crazy watching this :D Oh and, Holo cameo? Hell yes. |

| Finished the episode. It was purely awesome. Really reminded me of Baccano. Animation was nice, and the plot was good. I hope they show Shizuo in the next episode fight a gang like in the trailer. The OP was good, and I even liked the ED, which for animes I usually hate. |
| Standard Introduction Episode. I appreciate the art direction a lot, though. Reminded me a lot of Baccano's first episode - Just an episode where they get to showcase all of the characters and set-up into the plot, which is perfectly fine by me. Not a fan of what the main character and his childhood friend are shaping up to be, but everybody else looks pretty great. I love Erika's design in particular, and Kyohei reminded me of Beat from The World Ends With You (It's just the hat, but eh). Celty especially stood out for, you know, stepping on leprechauns with her motorcycle, getting up after being tazed, pulling scythes out of the place where her head should be, etc. |

Nope, noticing someone's race is not considered racist in my book. Especially not in Japan, where a (huge) black man obviously stands ou when surrounded by the smaller and leaner Japanese build! And considering he's dressed as a Japanese sushi chef (traditional typical Japanese culture, advertising a Russian owned sushi bar, some people might consider something like that ironic... And the scar girl is obviously the headless rider (big scar around her neck as if her head might have popped off and then was reattached). My guess is that she only goes into 'avenger mode' through episodes of amnesia and then wakes up after feeling rather confused. And considering a head hunt is next on the menu for Durarara!!, I'm thinking she's going to become an elusive character and the two main characters are eventually going to put two and two together. |

| After the first episode I was interested right away. Most characters were introduced and seem interesting to say the least. Art is good. I watching this from intantz.net good snime site :) The picked it up, subs were great and HD. The main caracter was the most bland which was quite upsetting. Fight scene made the episode, it was amazing. Overall good opening, great idea. |

| The fact that Horo had more detail than the real characters themselves, it makes me couldn't stop loling. Not bad, I really like it and so refreshing. |

| Interesting start to the series! I think it's a big plus when a series tries to be different, and well, frankly, I can't say that this feels like too many other series out there. I wonder how that main character (forget his name now) is going to relate to the rest of that rather bizarre world. The funky OP is great too. |
