It would naturally go by rank. Most people think gyutaro should be upper moon 5 or 4. People don’t realise that gyutaro was made to look strong because uzui is a weak hashira and at the time the boys were all inexperienced. Muichiro made gyokko look weak because of a few reasons. 1 thanks to tanjiro he could unlock the mark. Without that he would have lost. 2. Without kotetsu muichiro would have drowned. 3. Muichiro is one of the stronger hashira in the series. If someone like Rengoku, uzui or shinobou fought gyokko they would have lost. |
