Do you think technology will ever become so advanced that we will be able to clone / artificially reproduce anime characters, and have them IRL? EDIT: No rights for them, because I say so.

| ugh but why a surrogate lol if we got THAT technology why not artifical wombs as well and make the characters in a lab or sth but ughhhh idk id rather have a future where we become anime characters like technological body modifications become so accessible to everybody itd be just so easy to become anime u know kina like VR chat, but irl i think itd be pretty cool, sure many people would just copy their waifus but i think itd be an amazing opportunity for self expression and creativity if u could just build urself from the ground up u know |

| Hypothetically, it would be possible if the corresponding science is advanced enough, but it wouldn't be cloning, but rather creating a human from scratch in a lab. Also, cloning doesn't work like you think it does. If a hypothetical artificially created human will have rights is a totally different matter. |

It wouldn't be like the real thing. It would just be a more advanced version of those stupid AI chat programs that let you "talk" to a character - except it would be uploaded to a flesh body. And they would have rights n' stuff. |
