Pretty self-explanatory. This series was postponed due to Covid (really, still?) after episode 8, and I don´t see any dates for a possible comeback. Does anyone know anything about if the show is going to return soon, or ever? I was really enjoying it.

Yeah, me neither. If the animators are in Japan, which is a country that already uses masks on a regular basis, this thing shouldn't be a problem.

By all means, play the game. The anime is a great experience even if you know what will happen, but playing the game even relatively unspoiled (which you are at this point) is a truly unique experience. You'll also be able to experience the entire story, which the anime likely won't be able to cover.

Even if the anime had continued as planned the game was always going to be better. Do yourself a favor and play it, and then play replicant or the other way around. No experpence like it

It is very clear at this point that covid was not the reason for postponing this anime for so long, it is an issue related to the production of the anime, and until the studio solves that problem it ain’t coming back so no one can really tell when it will stars continue airing, we can only wait for some official announcement.

but they are overly relying on freelancers And A1 Picture The Studio Doesn't Have There Own Cgi Unlike Ufotable China Is Known To Have A Lot Of Cgi Animation Companies So A Lot Animators Probably Came Form That's The Covid Reason But You're Not Wrong About Production Issues As Well Both Of The Reason Are To Blame In This Situation

At this point, I don't see the series returning to TV for just 4 episodes. You probably wont see the conclusion until the DVD/Bluray release.

4 episodes? So it was going to be a 12-episode series? That has never been revealed, I think. 
That sucks. I guess there´s no point waiting around.

I'm just assuming so, most series today run 11-13 episode seasons. If it was going to be 24 episodes or something, they wouldn't have just totally pulled the plug with 16 more episodes still in the pipeline.

Why even release something that isn't finished? This obviously was still in production when it started airing, and then suddenly, shit hits the fan and they aren't able to finish the remaining episodes and at this rate, the remaining episodes won't be released until the BD comes out.

So yeah, forget about the TV version, just wait for the BD release.
