So, the meteorite is the reason of the collapse after all, and that's the cause of the earthquake in Japan (other side of the globe). Europe got nuked. How the hell did the Earth survive such collision though??? There should be ice-age due to debris blocking the sky too.

The biggest BS part here is the dumb cult we see in the lab who cloned people and experimented on them, BUT they also were terrorists who WANTED the meteor to hit the planet and SABOTAGED humanity by destroying countermeasures with laser-soldiers...

Dunno, I think we're reaching dangerous levels on Bullshit 'o' meter here and I'm starting to not like the story any more.

I believe there are some points you need to pay more attention to in your reasoning. As this chapter demonstrates, not everyone in the lab knew about certain things, and many people believed they were creating a paradise. I found the plan that was drawn up interesting, because in our reality, many may consider that humanity took the wrong paths from the beginning. Therefore, I believe that the old woman devised a plan to destroy humanity and repopulate it with the laboratory children, which would explain their innocence, for easy manipulation.

I was just confused about the earthquake that occurred a few chapters ago. I don't know if it was a natural earthquake or if it was caused by the meteor. Also, I don't know if this chapter is chronologically following the others or if there was a rewind in time.
