| Bad idea, very bad actually, it's very generic if you don't get a feel for the main series. It's like the flesh on the bones of the main series, expanding on its SoL parts. Do it like this: Watch tensura till rimuru names the oni in anime (ie when you first hear the names shion, shuna, benimaru, around ep 8), then read manga till you see ramiris (fairy of the labyrinth), you'll know it as the part where the guy visits a fairy with 5 kids, and then only move to tensura nikki. That's the best way to approach it. See it as a standalone and it'll be very generic and boring. |
