I really don't think that they put that much effort into the animation of food. there's much better shows for that, not saying that it's a trash anime, just not better than farming in another world, in my opinion

nah that cooking show was fun till 6-7 episodes now its just repetitive now it is just slime wants to kill, wolf wants meat and mc wants to live lowkey life despite having so much money. Atleast here we are getting lots of new waifu every episode.

Handyman isekai is good but it isn't even a slice of life like the Farming and Cooking isekais this season. Hard to compare SoLs to non-SoLs. I hope they all get sequels though, they're all pretty great.

Judging solely from the content of the anime thus far I can’t imagine a second season being nearly as good as the first. While there’s no real overarching goal that I’ve noticed in season 1, that can only get you so far. Much of the anime revolves around small discoveries/changes and adding new members to the village. This rinse and repeat process will not be able to carry out an interesting second season. So they will have to add some sort of goal. After doing that it will be a tough challenge to reach the high bar it has set for itself.

Those are my thoughts anyways.

It's a slow manga, but has some fun martial arts festival arcs later on. When reading it online, there were a number of people that got bored with it and stopped reading.

also, the "he quite literally fucks everyone in the village" might give a bit of misleading assumption for those who don't read the manga, XD
especially for those who only has reference from other isekai anime

sure, Hiraku has huge drive at the start, which made Ru just stay in child form to avoid being "attacked", and eventually asked Tia to stay as to help her do the deed
but in the end, it's the girls who are horny as f*ck

I love that bit, and very sad it is missing from the anime

Na we don't need another season, it was somewhat enjoyable, but got bland halfway through. I'd rather get new shows than continue to drag out an anime as meh as this one

I've checked the raw
the manga is currently at around chapter 224,
which is equivalent to around chapter 172 of the light novel
the light novel itself already at chapter 777

so the source is there for adaptation
will it be, though? we will have the answer at the end of May after the Blu-ray and DVD sales ended

addition: anime covers around 85 first chapters of LN or 65 first chapters of manga

Manga. Last 20 or so chapters have been very disappointing tbh. I still read them as I'm invested and I'm actually buying the physical vols as they are released in English, but even so its still not great compared to the rest.

I agree, one of the greatest isekai anime ever , I wish other anime would be like this .
This reminds me of " Realist hero who rebuilt the kingdom " and " Tensura " .. simply one of the best animes of 2023.
