Yes.
1st was decent.
2nd was just bad.
3rd was forgettable.

This and the 1st season so far are the best, the 2nd one was the worst and the 3rd was mid tier. Loved the chemistry between Ryu and Bell, but I hope this turns out to be a harem ending, it deservers such treatment, no girl left behind.

Much the opposite - I'd rate this as the first season that wasn't very good.  It barely had a plot and most of what it did have after the initial half of part 1 of season 4 just being a power showcase was bogged down in 'teenage self insert with trench coat and katana who wears sunglasses at night' levels of pointless edginess for people who can't tell that death and gore on their own make a story neither more mature nor more interesting.  Other plot threads just completely failed to pay off, like the Hestia familia could have just gone home after the floor boss for all it changed.  Like, this wasn't Overlord S3 levels of absolutely fuck awful to the point I wouldn't watch a season 5, but this was a definite misstep in what had previously been a really enjoyable series.

second worst season in my opinion, very boring, a lot of unecessary flashbacks, average animation, cringe moments, filler conversations.

The first season is definitely the best one by far in every aspect, i don t even understand how you can possibly think otherwise

I personally liked the third season the best, but 4th season both parts were good. Some issues I had was bad pacing in certain episodes and lack of what happens next in the last episode. The CGI wasn't bad for the dragon boss, I've seen worse. Overall this season was a solid 7/10

I actually rated the 1st season the lowest lol. Being Kirito's voice actor definitely wasn't helping back the for me to differentiate him from a carbon copy of Kirito. Over time, he's shown himself to be a better character imo.

This is definitely my favorite season so far.

I'd say the second half was pretty excellent...I think the first half was the worst in the series, though; I gave first half a 5 and second half a 9. The first half was basically just murder porn, which isn't what I watch DanMachi for.

Worst season in my opinion. That elf and her backstory is boring, not interested and her and whole season is about he.

Best season so far. The struggle, every battle was soo challangeing. Seeing how Bell have grown his powers at first and yet had life-threatening situations over and over!

This is the kind of fantasy anime I am looking for, not those cringe generic isekais with a twist where the mc just wins with no sweat. The final battle against the juggernaut was just the best considering how powerful it has always been. So satisfying to see! 9/10!

honestly, this season is well written, and better quality of story than last season.

right now i enjoy danmachi series. because, in each season, the story is not only about to kill monster in dungeon with "cliche" pace, but also conflict/war familiar in different way (s2 and s3) and survival with only 2 person (s4).

i will only watch the anime rather than read the novel. still wait another season.

Oh, without a doubt! Honestly, I was about ready to drop this series entirely if this season wasn't any good. Thank goodness it seems that J.C. Staff got their act together after that Index III disaster (gives me hope for Reign of the Seven Spellblades). I also think switching from that awful HIDIVE English dub also helped my experience. Seriously, the number of good voice actors in that dub could be counted on one hand whilst everyone else sounded like they've never felt a genuine emotion in their lives. I dunno why I stuck it out for three seasons. Again, glad I switched, because the Japanese cast really delivered this season.

Also, I think this arc solidified Ryuu as best girl in my eyes. I mean, I liked her before and always wanted to know more about her. Now that I have and I've watched her become strong enough to overcome her inner turmoil and defeat that creature that's haunted her for so long, as well as grow smitten with our cute n' oblivious little Rabbit Foot, Bell Cranell, yeah, I think I'm firmly in the Team Ryuu Camp, now.

Yeah Ryuu has become the best girl of this series and i so ship BellXRyuu 😍
Ryuu deserves love after the hell she has been to

Don't know if it's best or not and unlike others I'm not willing to rate so clear cutly, nor can I compare them objectively because I watched each just once and it took place during original air date, but this one surely was darkest and most despair-driven overall, and as for the Bell x Ryu interaction and how it ends, I really liked that and hope there will be continuation that picks up where the one left and further shows us how they went on after returning to surface life. I've always liked this series but never paid proper attention to Ryu until this season I suppose, likely just like the author intended. After finishing this season my conclusion was, she deserves someone like Bell, and he likewise deserves her, so imho the continuation I'd like to see would be them being in relationship and her entering Hestia Familia and adventuring with them. How it will really be I'll see, and if someone out there read manga and knows, please don't spoil because it won't be interesting to wait and see then.
