And Bleach is a sequel to a long running anime of over 200 canon episodes that ended 10 years ago... There is nothing surprising. It's actually impressive it's getting as many people watching considering all of this. And everyone who watched it rated it highly also. |

I saw it posted on the Oricon website so it must be accurate also https://gem-standard.com/columns?tag_id=162 I saw a lot of people posting Bleach at n1 but it's normal if you only look at the day of broadcast of the episode. If you look weekly Chainsaw man and Spy family were by far the most watched Anyway streaming is not the only measure of success. For exemple look at Chainsaw man and Bocchi. CSM got a lot of views but Bocchi the Rock is absolutely killing it with the Blu ray and DVD sales. (More than any show this season). Even the music album sales. And since a lot of hardcore Japanese CSM fans are mad about the anime adaptation, they are not buying the Blu ray and giving it bad reviews... Even in manga sales boost. Blue Lock got a bigger boost in sales compared to Chainsaw man. Bleach's Blu ray is coming out in April. I also hope they got a lot of money from Disney because this season have been just amazing |

| @mrYoshirin Ok, Fair. I guess we have to wait to see the official sales results when the CSM blue ray will be out. I doubt whoever that it will sell like Bocchi. It has being a success of course with Streaming views (i never said otherwise) but it's not the huge success people projected before it started. |

They did a lot of advertisement. They had a big poster in a big building in Shibuya, all arround the Tokyo train stations... Special programs in Tv Tokyo. I think they did the best they could. Again i think it's doing well. It's a sequel of a manga that ended many years ago, I don't understand why people think it will be top of the charts when people who aren't caught up can't even watch it. It's basically made for the fans of the series |

Blu Ray doesnt matter nowadays because only hardcore fans will buy it. SpyxFamily Blu Ray also sold not that impressive but it doing very well in streaming and tv rating in Japan. So far in between episode 1-13 Bleach not appear at all in tv rating means that not so many people watch Bleach on TV compare with SxF and Chainsaw Man.  |

According to the poll, Bleach equaled My Hero Academia twice and beat it in the final survey of the year. My hero academia is the #2 most watched seasonal show of this current season, only behind Blue Lock, now that SxF and CSM are over. The biggest isekai anime of the season, Eminence in Shadow, does not rank in the last poll. This puts Bleach as one of the biggest media franchises for Fall season in Japan. In Japan anime series, manga series and movies promote each other. Bleach stands out because it's in the top most streamed anime without volume releases and without Weekly Shounen Jump's weekly magazine chapter release promotions, which help boost the popularity of all the other series I've mentioned. The anime doesn't just promote the manga, it goes the other way around as well. |

| Bleach isn't as popular in Japan. It has its fanbase ofcours but generally your average seasonal anime will get more views and sales since to watch this season in bleach you would need to watch the earlier 300+ episodes which I guess many current anime fans in Japan didn't or lost interest. |
